I came here with my sister, and we wanted to buy the missha cushion powder and also take a look around the store. I noticed the owner or employee kept watching us, I didn’t mind but then everything I kept looking at saying to my sister “this packaging is so cute” the lady would tell me it’s not for me. We just said ok and carried on. Then we found the product we were looking to purchase and pulled out our phone to make sure it is the exact brand. She then came up to us and said everything online is cheaper, just buy it online. We said “oh ok” politely and carried on looking. We wanted to test the shade in person and also buy it. Then she just kept standing right next to us and she says this entire collection is too dark for us and snatched the item out of my sisters hand.. I told my sister it isn’t that I’ve checked Amazon reviews that say that the darkest shade is too light on them. So we just said ok to her and continued to look. She was still standing there very close. We asked her if we could test this product and she did help us with that but kept telling us “see to dark” but it was an exact match. Then as I was looking to find my shade, the lady said she wants to use the bathroom, my sister and I were so confused. We told her no problem go ahead. She says again she needs to use the bathroom and points at the door, and I asked oh you want us to leave? She said yes because she wants to close her store while she goes to the bathroom. I said no worries we can just come back after you finish using the bathroom then she says no hurry up and walks over to us opens up a tester grabs the cushion and without even asking starts dabbing like realll hard on my face, which is unsanitary and so confusing bc she tested it on my sisters hand but for me on my face. I was in complete shock. I just wanted to leave at this point. She’s dabbing it on my face repeating that it’s dark and then raises her voice saying she has a restroom problem. We asked do you want us to just leave and she said yes over and over, we just left and kind of stayed near to watch if she was honestly needing to go to the bathroom. She didn’t even lock up or go to the restroom. Such bad vibes. We felt as if we were being judged or something, we don’t know why this lady treated us this way. We tried being very patient and polite, still was...
Read moreMy mother-in-law and I decided to visit this shop after having lunch yesterday. We've never been in here before and I can for a fact say, we will NOT be coming back. Ever. As soon as we walked in, we were met with an older korean lady who did nothing but grunt and huff at us the whole time. Asked her how her afternoon was, we were met with a glare and with nothing to say. We brushed it off and continued to walk around the store. We were looking at the stationary items, only for the employee to walk up to my mother-in-law, with hands on her hips, staring us down like we've stolen something. After a few minutes went by (awkward), we turned to her and asked her for the price on one of her items, she snatched the item out of my mother-in-law's hands and threw it back at her with a rude "it's $10!!" response.
The last straw for us was when we were just about to leave, the employee runs ahead of us and stands outside her store, holding a mop in her hand, grunting and staring us down. I've shopped at many asian stores in my lifetime, never had I had to deal with someone this hostile. I was absolutely appalled by this behavior. We decided to leave and as we walked out, the lady uttered something rude to us in korean and closed the shop door. It was only 3pm on a Saturday, so it's not like we we're staying past closing hours. I'm not sure what she was about to do with that mop, but she was gripping it in a way that seemed pretty aggressive lol.
Not only will I avoid this place in the future, but I will definitely let others know to avoid this place as well. From my personal experience, my mother-in-law and I run a business and we deal with customers everyday. Seriously, take your money elsewhere. Customers should NOT be treated this way. Customers should be welcomed for keeping your business alive, not be met with hostility and told to get out (especially with a mop lol)....
Read moreAlthough this was about a year or two ago, reading these reviews have encouraged me to share my own AWFUL experience. Though the encounter was short-lasting, it was enough to match up with pretty much every 1 star review on this store. Me and my friend were walking around as my sister was in a different store (it was an 18+ store, and at the time me and my friend were still minors) me and my friend decided to enter this store as I saw a product I thought was cute from the window. As soon as we entered it was pretty much empty, the only one there was an older Asian lady. Me and my friend were looking around and the lady asked if we needed anything in an annoyed tone. My friend didn’t hear, and I have really bad anxiety so I didn’t have the courage to respond. She mumbled in another language and was definitely pissed at this point. My friend at one point picked up a product and immediately the lady left the register and stood in the middle of the store and just flat out started staring us down like a hawk. I was so uncomfortable and immediately left, me and my friend laughed about it but it’s still an unacceptable encounter to give to customers. We told my sister about the experience and she said she’s known for that and that’s why her store is always empty. Though I don’t know if it’s true she still works there or not, if she does do NOT waste your time going to this store there’s plenty others with way better...
