So I have to say that this McDonald’s has one best indoor play areas of any fast food joint I know. But that’s it, nothing more.
I go for my toddler who loves the Happy Meal. When we do there have been several occasions the orders were delayed or wrong. I don’t know how such a simple order gets so confusing that they get it wrong but it does.
Also their drive through is extremely slow and inefficient. Like dine in they get my orders wrong on occasion. During drive through they typically give hard looks without a smile. No hi, no how are you doing, no smile, no “Welcome to McDonald’s”, not even a thank you.
I feel they could learn a lot from Chic-fil-A and Sonic whos employees are awesome!
Now I was in drive through and i was at the intercom for 5min and 17 sec. I spoke up and they replied saying that all system are down and can’t take my order. I asked if I could just get the nuggets for my son and they say no. Ok whatever I didn’t argue. The big problem was that there was a car ahead of me and a car behind me. I chimed in to the lady on the other side of the interfón and asked her how do I get out because your locked in with a concrete curb. She states that she sorry and that I’ll have to wait. Lol.
Guess what? This was the second time that’s happened! Literally, in drive through, can’t take orders because system was down and I was stuck with a car in front and one behind.
I don’t know. I feel stupid writing a review of McDonalds. I mean it’s McDonalds. Honestly, I feel even more stupid that I keep going back. I hate being that person that learns the hard way but behold here I am at it again.
As I write this I’m laughing at myself because put in perspective this isn’t even a little important.
I forgive you Carrollton McDonald’s on Frankford and Old Denton. You may just need a new manager, owner, director, interventionists, therapy, training or even a hug.
I’ll just tell my 4yo son that we won’t be going back. I’m sure he’ll cry from sadness. Ohh, the tears!!!
Thank you Carrollton McDonald’s on Frankford and Old Denton for allowing sadness to dawn upon an innocent child. Where did you go wrong? Where’s Ronald when you need him?
The tune of sadness is being played by the popping sound of McDonalds frozen fries enter the boiling oil of their lunch fryers.
One day jutice will come to Frankford and Old Denton and peace will reign the arches once again.
Uft! I can’t believe I wrote all this. Time to consult my...
Read moreMade a purchase on the McDonald's app because it's offering tons of free food at around 9: 45pm got to McDonald's at 10:05pm and they inform me my order did not exist because any online app order has a cut off at 10:00 even though the app did not say that this must have been a store specific rule and even if picking it up after 10:00 even though you've already paid for it it erases it from the system. Even though the informative was something I should be aware of even though there's no information regarding this and my apps sitting there giving me a confirmation number and everything the lady working was kind enough to fulfill my order for much cheaper than it would have cost but these stores have to get in line with these online offers or what's the point of all this? You know before I never used stuff like this until cash flow became an issue recently and I got thrifty and I'm finding a systemic issue here that starts to leave the theories like our corporations just not even training people or caring because they know they're going to replace them with robots in the near future anyway? Something's got to give. For the record I know a lot of my reviews revolve around this topic, but just know I'm not the person or type that is becoming irate and acting deserving. I'm literally trying to help these employees who are clearly untrained on these issues and work with them. Some are nicer than others and this store was very nice about it so only docking them a star. Same thing happened except for breakfast this time they told me my money would be returned by midnight and it was all I had to eat for the day so I'm going to go ahead and give this a one star establishment punishing it for lack of education to its employees how the application that it promotes so much to use works best punishing the customer with its bugs instead of making...
Read more9:45pm I entered a mobile order, using up all 6000 reward stars on the app and paying online for the rest of my order. I went to pick it up (we only had 3 items on the order, so simple), and the person in front of us ordered a large order. By the time we got to the speaker, it was 9:55 and the lady was yelling at the crew and the person who just pulled up to the pay window. The yelling lady then yelled at me, (before I even said anything) "there's a large order in front of you, hold on!" It was 10:05 before a guy came on the speaker and he asked what we wanted, I said we ordered online and have been waiting to just pick it up since we already paid 20 minutes ago. He didn't respond, he just ran off. Then the yelling lady came back and yelled at us for having a mobile order after 10pm, this was the first time I've ever heard of this rule, so I asked "ok, but we paid 20 minutes ago, how do I get a refund?" She yelled back "TAKE IT UP WITH YO BANK! WE DONT DO ANYTHING WITH THAT!" So here I am on Google, warning everyone else, don't waste your time here. I went to a different McDonald's down the street cause I was still hungry, and they were better. Just don't go to this location. They lose your food, they have horrible customer service, and the poor person in front of us had a large order and got yelled at for it and made fun of, and then I got yelled at because they were frustrated about having a large order before me. I've never had such a bizarre experience at a McDonald's before. Hope she gets some help or food or Jesus or a one-way plane ticket to Florida so we all can get some good customer...
