The menu at Capriotti's is a sandwich lover's dream come true. They offer a wide variety of sandwiches, each one crafted with care and made using high-quality ingredients. Whether you're in the mood for a classic turkey or roast beef sandwich, or you're looking for something more adventurous like their famous "Bobbie" sandwich with turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and mayo, there is something to satisfy every palate.
I opted for their signature "Capastrami" sandwich, and I was blown away by the flavor and quality. The thinly sliced, perfectly seasoned pastrami was piled high on their freshly baked bread, complemented by melted Swiss cheese, Russian dressing, and coleslaw. The combination of flavors and textures was absolutely mouthwatering, and each bite was a delightful explosion of taste.
The service at Capriotti's was exceptional. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, taking the time to explain the menu options and make recommendations based on my preferences. They ensured that my order was prepared to perfection, and the wait time was minimal.
The portions at Capriotti's are generous, ensuring that you get your money's worth. The sandwiches are packed with fillings, and you definitely won't leave the restaurant feeling hungry. They also offer a variety of sides, including crispy fries and flavorful salads, which make for the perfect accompaniment to their sandwiches.
The cleanliness of the restaurant was also commendable. The dining area and the kitchen were immaculately maintained, creating a pleasant and hygienic environment for customers. Additionally, the restaurant has a comfortable seating area, allowing guests to enjoy their meal in a relaxed setting.
In conclusion, Capriotti's Sandwich Shop in Carson City is a must-visit for sandwich enthusiasts. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis used to be a good sandwich shop but today was one of the worst experiences dealing with any retail store. It's Thursday 6/13/24 around 4:00 pm I walk in the front door and there are no customers just a young guy behind the counter and it looks like he's talking with his buddy on the other side . I walk straight up to the counter and it takes about 30 seconds for the young guy to look at me and ask what I want. I said "let me have a Turkey sandwich" he says what size and he points to the chart on the counter and I say 10". He says "lettuce, onions, tomatoes? I said yes with mustard, mayonnaise and NO oil & vinegar. He says $12 or something like that and rings it up. The whole transaction took less than 10 seconds. I said I want some chips and reached down and grabbed a bag of chips, he scoffed and took a couple more dollars out of my $20. He never asked if I wanted anything to drink and disappeared somewhere in the back. A couple minuets later a young girl comes out, calls my name, hands me a bag and walks away. I get in my car to go home to Virginia City but it was 4:00 and I hadn't eaten all day so I pulled over in the parking lot at Gold Dust West to eat my sandwich and guess what, No Mayonnaise and No Mustard but it did have a little oil and vinegar. It was one of the driest things I have ever eaten . The point of this post is not the stupid $12 sandwich it's about customer service. If you are over 65 you will know what I'm saying. I'm 70 years old and I've owned a retail business in Carson City for over 33 years and before that I was the parts manager for Carson City Toyota for 10 years so I know a little about life and customer service. Anybody under 30 (not all, but most) treat seniors like they just want us to get out of their way because we are just old & stupid. I can't imagine how they treat their grand parents and parents. Just because we are old and don't use Instagram and other social media platforms, doesn't make us stupid. Maybe if you are going to hire young people they should be trained on how to treat senior citizens and not so much on diversity training. If the youth of today is the future of this country I'm glad I wont be around to see what they do with it. Yeah, yeah I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI placed an order from Capriotti's Sandwich Shop because I had it at work one day for lunch, and I loved it! I'm new to Carson, so I wanted to try it out again. I ordered an online delivery- which I will never do again. I ordered a chicken chipotle crunch and received a Philly cheese steak instead. I understood this was a mistake, so I just reordered the sandwich I originally ordered, not requesting a refund or anything. I did call the store to give them a heads up that someone probably might receive my order instead. The manager was terrible and so rude! He literally said, "I don't have time for this. So you just want another sandwich? We are slammed right now." This is after I had ALREADY PAID FOR ANOTHER SANDWICH. I was only trying to let him know what was going on in case the person who mixed up our orders didn't run into any surprises! Not to mention, the 2nd sando they sent me was ALSO incorrect. So, the point is: Good food, when and IF your order is correct. Customer service is terrible, specifically the manager.
