Interesting fast food almost authentic Mexican food. Not quite as "Mexican" as Taco Bell. I was quite surprised I could go through a drive through and order Mexican food that normally would require sit down eat in. I got a combo plate of a beef taco and chicken enchilada and a large horchata for drink. My wife ordered the 2 chicken taco combo plate and a 4oz side of guacamole. Costing $32.44 which was a pretty good deal. Unfortunately the Travis were a bit underwhelming in flavor, the lettuce tasted very fresh though. Of course who's buying tacos for the lettuce? My chicken enchilada was the bomb, best I ever had. Just know there are jalapenos in the enchilada so they are wonderfully spicy. The horchata was pretty watery and thin the guacamole was also thin and soupy. We went through the drive through but are in the parking lot (couldn't leave the car as I needed to keep it running) lucky we did as the guacamole was not in the bag this soupy guac cost $4.05! So of course I went into the restaurant to get the missing guac. There were no patrons in the restaurant at the time. I informed the guy that took our order they forgot to include the guacamole. He went right away to get the guac but also chastised the kid that put the order together which developed into a small argument. He then gave me the guac with a grunt, no sorry, no thank you, nothing! Probably won't be going back. It's really too bad it was our first time and we were really trying to find a good Mexican...
Read moreI am quite upset at how my first visit was/has been handled. I am not even sure how they got the order completely wrong since the person who took down our order repeated it back to us. A part of the order was nachos and we ordered chimichangas? I also requested no beans and they still gave me beans. I tried reaching out to the restaurant to get it remedied asap but no one picked up the phone so I emailed to help have some sort of "paper trail" too. Heard back pretty quickly from the company and they let me know the franchise owner/manager Armando would like to re-do the order but I had to let them know the day and timeframe when we would come back. Seems inconvenient but okay. Then I tried asking if I could come in on a Friday and the first time no one answered me and I emailed again and still no answer. I tried again to call and they said to come in on Monday which is inconvenient for me. Very confused as to why I had to make it convenient for the restaurant when they inconvenienced me by getting my original order wrong. I spent almost $60 on my order. Super disappointed in my experience. I would not...
Read moreI hate doing this but come on guys, $11 for my burrito and you put extra pico and onions when the girl in the window acknowledged and verified that she understood my specific request for NO pico NO onions. I had to throw it away because all i could taste is raw onions NO matter what I did..Also, I can't believe my burrito was mostly lettuce and pico/onions. For that price it would be nice to have more of the burrito I ordered instead of a mouthful of lettuce and pico/onions.
Rolled tacos, not the same at all.. They got smaller and they were still cold in the middle with very little cheese with once again a huge amount of lettuce.
This was just disappointing to say the least and a waste of money and food. Roberto's was one of my favorite places, sadly I will not be returning to this location again.
This review isn't solely based off of my last visit today, it's been several occasions over the past year. I'm sorry to have to write a review like this but this is one of the reasons why reviews are here in the...
