Shinsen Sushi — Restaurant in Carson City

Great sushi. Teribble customer service. I've been eating here for years and the customer service is always been so so. But my last experience on New Year's day was terrible. I was going to place an order for takeout. So when I got there I told the hostess who takes the orders and she said I'm busy right now I'll get you in a few minutes. I sat and waited for 45 minutes no one ever came and said anything. Maybe say im sorry we're so busy, ill be with you in a few minutes. I wont be going back...

I am an avid sushi lover and have gone to many restrants coast to coast and across seas. Out of all my experiences this is my go to place. Our chef, Ricardo, is a rock star. The rice is beautifully made and fish to rice ratio is on point. Because the limited seating you get a very personal experience with your chef and food is delivered promptly. That being said you may have to wait for seating (especially if you have a large party) but it is well worth it. I've never had to wait longer...

Food is great but can be a little pricey. Whenever I go here there's just never anywhere to sit, and I end up having to go somewhere else.
