Burattino Brick Oven Pizza — Restaurant in Carson

First, I'll say that I have loved this place for quite a while now. There's nothing like that brick oven flavor on your tongue that bursts in your mouth and makes you dance when there is no music around. However, on Monday placed my order as usual, I went in for pick up. I hardly ever lift the top to the pizza, because it's Always correct. For some reason I happen to lift the lid and it was an epic FAIL!!!! The cashier took a look and stated, "sorry about that we will make you another one." I replied, "No problem!" I waited 25 minutes just for them to give me the exact same pizza with the missing ingredients thrown on top. No Bueno!!!! I took pictures. Absolutely, nothing like what I expected. The pepperoni, which happens to be one of the toppings they forgot to add, didn't even go through the oven. Same with the basil. It was barely warm and the taste was worse than those other pizza delivery places. Now, I've told at least 20 people about this place and pretty sure that they've also spread the word. There's no place on the website that leads to customer service or management. Seems like I'll just have tell those 20 along with whomever they told and we will find another spot. I truly hate finding a really good food place with great service and suddenly the service...

I usually do not write reviews online but this place was terrible on service.. first I put a online order around 11am to for pick up at 5pm Saturday cool.. went for pick around 4:55 the 2 young ladies working in front where all over the place from the start I was in disbelieve on how unorganized they were did not acknowledge me if to see If i needed help for pick up tell I said something..mind you they would open boxes of finished pizza and had no idea what order was what for other customers there as well I was like WOW!!! handling money not washing there hand also the workers there do not where gloves and caught them handling peoples food without and sanitation nasty!! they told me my order was coming but after waiting for 40 minutes mind you I got there right at 4:55..the 2 gals working told me my calzone was in the oven go figure when they ask there cooks nothing was made NOT 1 pizza out of my order of 3 pizzas that was 70 bucks worth I was angry already and left moral of the story they should not continue to process orders if there that backed up owner needs to talk to his employees to have more integrity and training for there...

I was really excited to try the pizza here after seeing the Instagram posts but I honestly wasn't impressed. I ordered a meatball with extra cheese pizza and we were disappointed because my fiancé, who doesn't eat pork, had to be picking off the meatballs (I mistakenly assumed the meatballs would be high quality beef) so he couldn't really enjoy the pizza. I was left to eat it all and I got fed up with so many meatball pieces that weren't even great (I've definitely had better meatballs) but also I'm pretty sure I only paid for extra cheese because there definitely was not extra cheese on the pizza. The pizza we were given did not look anything like the pizza on Instagram, no drip to be found. Not to mention it took us an hour each way to get there so it was a highly disappointing experience. I can't say I will be back, unfortunately. I truly wish my pizza had looked like the ones on IG, but I guess that's the beauty of marketing. Too bad they won't have a repeat customer.
