Lucia's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Carteret

I used to love Lucia’s and after today I will not be returning if this is what you call a good pizza. I paid 25 dollars for a veggie pizza and waited over forty minutes to be given this mess of no cheese, oil and sloppy veggies. Their customer service was ridiculous and argumentative. I used to come here at least once a week and being they were difficult about making it right I will not return.

To reply to the location I spent 25 dollars on that pizza five dollars off before remaking it doesn’t cut it. And yes my dad for some reason felt the need to get a new pizza but it was also just as trash in my opinion. Not confirmed better at all it was an equal mess of dough and slop. Five dollars back was the LEAST you can after making me wait...

My family ordered 2 Pizzas, Chicken Louisiana and Baked Ziti for dinner tonight. The Chicken Louisiana had a scraggly black hair in it (gross!) and the Baked Ziti was sour, as if the cheese had expired!! It was the most disgusting meal we've ever attempted to eat!! I called and the manager said they would credit those 2 dishes!! They really should've credited the whole meal out because ewwwwww!!!! I think there are new chefs or owners because this was shockingly bad!!! The cherry on the cake is that it took them 3 hours to bring my money back!! The driver even smelt the ziti and agreeed it was fowl!! We will never be ordering from...

OK, a whole in the wall type joint, no disrespect by the description it’s just a small old building that serves great food! Excellent customer service. Been going there off and on for many years, sometimes I don’t frequent the place for a long time other times I’m there several times a week. Everything I’ve had, I have loved from the pizzas the muscles, subs, both hot and cold. The mussels, which are the best around the area, you gotta try the spicy ones! The only bad thing I’ll say about the place is parking, which is horrible to say the least other than that. great people...
