I would not give it one star!! Absolutely terrible experience, customer relations and service. Walked in to pickup an online item that was ready for pickup, was asked to see my drivers license and card I used to purchase the item. I advised the associate that the item was purchased through affirm. Associate who was extremely courteous wasn’t sure how to handle the transaction as I did not have a physical card on me. He asked a couple of his associates for assistance but did not get much help. An older gentleman came over to assist and this is where it escalated. The older gentleman told me I needed to show him my affirm card and I explained to him I do not have one and he said well I can’t release the product until I provide him with the physical card. I asked him if he knew how affirm works and he said of course I do, so I told him then he should understand there’s no way of me providing him with a card. He said well you used a card because the system shows the last 4 digit of the card. I explained to him again that affirm provides a temporary card to make the payment but the card expires in 24 hours. He went on to say there’s nothing he can do. This made me extremely upset and told him I wouldn’t have received an email to pickup the order if the item wasn’t paid in full. He said that isn’t true. After going back and forth for awhile, I told him I’m not leaving here without my product. With an attitude, he then asked the associate to put in the order number in the system, after doing so he said oh the order is paid in full. I told I know it is, he walked away like a child throwing a tantrum and told the associate to get someone else to finish assisting me. Him walking away did not sit well with me so I approached him and asked why wouldn’t he have checked first to see if it was paid in full before giving me a hard time and wasting unnecessary time. I asked him who the manager is and he said I am. I was floored! Couldn’t believe the lack of customer service that came from this manager. I asked why would he not finish helping his associate out. He asked me where is the associate now, I told him, he went to look for help like you asked him to and he said I never said that, are you going to argue with me about that as well. I said of course you told him why do you think he isn’t at the register. He then called him over and asked if he still had my driver license and the associate said yes, so he told him just put the license number in and it will release the order. Over half...

Bought a Window AC from this place last week. It was a time critical purchase. Salesperson Scott was really helpful in going through the details and finalising the sale. However when one of the warehouse employees loading the AC into the car, I noticed a damage to the box on the top. I informed the employee that the box is damaged. He was negligent to the fact that the AC may be damaged too and hurried back to store stating it is all good inside the box. Right then, I felt that the guy who loaded the AC really did not care about my concerns. I took a picture of the box and mistakenly went against my gut feeling and took it home. I should have really opened it then and there.. well when i opend the box at home, I was so frustrated to find a huge dent on the AC exactly where the box was damaged. Could not forgive my self for going against what I felt in my gut. I was feeling really worried as the PC Richard & Son Return policies states that opened AC units cannot be returned. I did not even take the AC out of the box just opened the flaps of the box. Lost few hours of my time and dealine to get an AC fixed. When I returned to the store next day Frederic and Bobby (Store Manager) really understood my pain as a customer, apologised for what I had to go through and fully refunded for the AC. Smoothly handled my frustration and disappointment. As mentioned, it was a time critical purchase and I had no need for it when the deadline passed. Read moreHad the best experience at this store on Wednesday afternoon, 8/13/2025 (store #75, Carteret NJ). Hot and humid day to shop for window air conditioner when the one at home broke down in the morning. Me and my husband were immediately approached by Kyle M. and offered his assistance. I already had in my what I was going to buy and asked for a specific makers. He, very calmly and professionally explained what the store had, or did not, or what it did not carry. This was in, as a matter of doing business. I love it, when people are not pushy and try to sell you everything under the sun. My final choice ended up air conditioner that the store did not have in stock. Kyle was unfazed, got on his computer, found that particular item in East Brunswick store, made an inquiry to make sure it is there, had it put aside for us, rang it up and we were on our way. Smoothest and most professional sale and transaction I had in a very long time. I buy appliance in this store whenever one that I own breaks down. Always had a very good service. But this was impressive, I wish I video taped it and could post it on YouTube. He is definitely a rising star for this company. Thank you Kyle for your professionalism, a rare thing today, keep on the way you do things, people notice that and it does make a difference, no matter what you do for living....
