really really sad... and i even read all the recent reviews & thought what are these ppl talking about? this place has been open for 26+ years & i have been eating there for 15 years myself! how could anyone say these things...but it's been at least a year since i have eaten here !and apparently much has changed! it was so very disappointing! i didn't even eat it! worse than buffet Chinese or even frozen grocery store meals, and no this is not an exageration... 1st the "eggrolls" were tiny spring rolls, and really the best part of the meal. the sweet & sour chicken had 3 quarter sized pieces of green pepper, and no pineapplee xcept for 2 chunks of obviously canned pineapple in the no doubt came from a jar sweet and sour sauce.. but this isn't even the worst part the "fried rice" was not fried at all simply white rice w/ soy sauce..no egg, vegatable, not fried but in in a perfectly round rice scoop. my husband have one of the "signature meals and was a lil better no taste except for the salt from overuse of soy sauce, but adequate amount of semi-fresh veggies, but the shrimp while large, were skimped on and not fully cleaned! yuck!! service was awful upon ordering but ludicrous when we came back in the next am, with 2 container of uneaten food. and was refused an apology, refund or even replacement!!! i will never waste another penny here! i know times are hard all over, but you don't your chef & think you can do just as well yourself..,only employee was mother (only assuming, maybe just older lady) making food, young adult daughter (again an assumption) taking order/cashier while younger daughter (under 10) cleans up the take-out area? (hopig this child is a relative b/c this was after 9pm, much too late for any child...
Read moreI get take out here quite a bit. Their services is quick and easy. I order over phone and then I stop in and they have the food hot and ready.
I do have to say I won't be getting their House Egg Foo Young ever again. I am not an expert on making it, but normally when I order from Chinese places I get 3 omelets with all the veggies and meats included inside the omelets and your sauce comes in a separate container so you can add as much as you like. However this place makes 3 egg omelets with just the veggies and then adds all the meats on top of them (not included inside the omelet) and pours all the sauce on it directly. I don't like this method of preparation, but that just might be the way they make it and other people like it. I prefer the meats to be included in the omelets.
Fried rice has a lot of White rice included with it (minimal seasoning) and not much egg included. I even ordered House FR and it was the same- not much seasoning and a lot of white rice included.
Their steamed pot stickers never disappoint and their sweet tea in on point. The Happy Family was...
Read moreWow, our first time here and we are very impressed. My wife and brother and I ordered take out at 4pm on Fri July 1, 2022.
I ordered the curry beef, I only like beef, onions and green peppers with my curry and they did it right. The curry is fantastic; plenty of sauce, the meat is tender and the onions and peppers are fresh. Pretty spicy curry sauce so beware if you don't like spicy. If you are a curry beef lover then you will be happy.
My wife had the Mongolian beef with noodles, she really enjoyed it. It has beef, onions and chives, and the noodles also had a great flavor.
My brother had the General Tso's chicken, he also enjoyed it (see pics of all dishes).
Plenty of parking, centrally located; the inside is spacious and very clean and has a comfortable feel to it.
Prices are great, we paid ~30 bucks for everything so it's very affordable and you get very large portions.
This is now our go-to for Chinese cuisine....
