I visit two shops in Market Square; Hobby Lobby & Big Lots. At Hobby Lobby, it's a sure thing. They have everything you could ask for & more. And sales always in some kind of inventory plus using the discount code from their app gives % off one item at regular price.

You can find prints to frame, have a custom frame made, a wide selection of silk flowers, baskets, furniture, holiday items galore, home furnishings, mirrors, spiritual decor, a (shrinking) fabric department with buttons, ribbon, thread, etc. A large selection of party items for all kind of themes, a large selection of greeting cards, and candies to entice you near the checkout. Very seldom will Hobby Lobby let you down. (Hours are, I think: M-Sat.: 9a -8pm & Sundays:Closed.

The second store I go to here is Big Lots. I used to go more often in the 14 years I have lived in the Cartersville area but now seldom visit Big Lots. There are fewer things I need & honestly, Ollie's has more inventory at better prices. This Big Lots has rearranged since I was there last as the furniture department was to the right immediately upon the customer entering. The new merchandising has helped the store appear more tidy & seem as if it has more inventory. I was there for a specific furniture item but they did not have it. Laundry mat is always spotless and in working order, no matter the time of day. Big parking lot, you can pull up to the curb and unload. Dollar general nextdoor willing to give cash back.
