Waffle House — Restaurant in Cartersville

Not really sure what is going on here at this location. I was here a while back with a friend. What happened has been really being bothering me that I regret not saying anything when I was there. I was there earlier this month towards the beginning of it.

As someone with mental illness myself I don't find it appropriate or amusing to see an employee making their coworker uncomfortable by asking if they took their medication. It's not professional more so it's not anyone's business. I get it, it's a waffle house but I still expect in this day in age with the ever growing acceptance of mental illness that I no one should be trying to shame someone for something they can't control. The one doing the shaming has no idea what that person has gone through.

If I were this girls manager I would be having a serious talk with her, moving her shift so they don't have to interact or if it keeps up firing her. There is absolutely no excuse for this type of behavior. Management is free to contact...

April 23, 2025: I had to edit my previous good review to mention that now this location charges 20% more on to-go orders, and have therefore lost my business and the business of all my family and friends. We used to come in at least once a week, not anymore.

Our family and friends come in here frequently for several reasons: we like the WH food anyway; the service is good; they rarely mess up an order; the place is pretty clean for a Waffle House.

There are several WH locations around us but this one is consistently good, so while generally Waffle House is not really a 5 Star review type place, compared to all the other ones we've been to this location has been consistent and good.

This is the most awful Waffle House I’ve ever been in I’d be happy as hell if they list their franchise. Every customer was a Waffle House employee from another WH. The cook sucks, the “new” menu sucks, and they couldn’t get an order correct if you stood in the damn kitchen and called the order yourself. Too many establishments are leaning on the “scamdemic” to allow service to go to hell. This S-hole is a prime example. If this was my first impression with Waffle House, I’d never set foot inside again this place sucks. Crew sucks, cook sucks. Order was not even close, even after I relented to them removing my go-to on the menu. I do t want to hear about your kids, your break time. Do your f&$king job. Worst place in cartersville and the franchisee needs to straighten it out or sell it....
