I was humiliated and Embarrassed. I bought Shirts i needed to Print onto But I bought the Wrong brand. I went to Return the shirts with My receipt in Hand And was Accused Of Stealing them ! I had come in half an hour earlier when I originally purchased the shirts and I had to return them because My boss said I had gotten the wrong Material shirts to print them. On top of that they Charged me 3x more then the discounted price for 11 shirts. I waited in line for 5-10 minutes and then finally got to the Front of the line. Some guy came and Told me to my face “You didn’t purchase these, I watched you go to the back of the store and Take them off the Rack” I Told him “how if I been in the front of the store the whole time “ He insisted that I did Steal them and I handed him the receipt. He finally realized his mistake and Made a completely fool of himself. I was humiliated and embarrassed because both customers and Employees Were thinking I was a criminal. I had an employee that saw me walking in her direction looking down aisles that said hello, how are you today? Waited for my response & then asked me if there was anything that she could help me find? I told her what I was looking for & she never once told me that what I was looking for wasn't in her department or anything like that, she (took) as in walked me the exact aisle where the product was that I asked for but on our way there she was asking me for a little more details to see if that was what I was needing or something else. Well, she did tell me exactly where the other product was if I wanted to check it out after I got finished looking at the products on the aisle that she brought me to. Very helpful & not pushy trying to get me to buy something that I didn't want. Oh, she also made sure that I knew that there was a 40% off sale going on for wedding stuff & that was why I was there in the 1st place to see if I could find cheaper wedding invitations for my daughter. I love Hobby Lobby. It’s been a staple in my life as long as I can remember. They have everything you can imagine in regards to crafting, decor, furniture and more. Usually, you are greeted at the door with a smile or warm welcome, given the fact that it’s owned by a Christian family who actively displays their faith throughout their many locations. These people are supposed to be some of the most hospitable people in the world, but not here. This Hobby Lobby has a different approach: treat everyone like a thief, and make them as uncomfortable as you possibly can until you completely run them out of the store. Here, you can expect 95% of the staff to be suspicious of you, and not to show any signs of hospitality or service. It has been this way for as long as I can remember, which is why I only stop in here if I HAVE to. I will always choose a different location if I can.
