Acai Express Cary — Restaurant in Cary

Soooo this place is brand spanking new, I've been waiting for over a month for them to finally open and they have! Sigh... Chefs kiss.. it was WELL worth the wait! I tell you.. the açai isn't like the açai like at other açai bowl places, it's the actual PURE GRADE kind straight from the Amazon(I've done my research) and it's so yummy 😋 the dragon fruit(pitaya bowls) are also so delicious and pretty lol. The bowls, the toast, the quesadillas, the fresh juices and wellness shots and the smoothies are all very delicious and refreshing! And the owners are so kind and Informative! They know their stuff ✨ also, the employees are pretty good at making sure the orders are accurate and the presentation and appearance of the foods/drinks are immaculate. Everyone just paces themselves, which I have a HUGE appreciation for in such a fast food society today. This is our second time visiting Açaí Express and we absolutely love the product, it's high quality and always delicious. Unfortunately, today we didn’t have the best service experience.

We brought our daughter to celebrate her birthday with an açaí bowl and arrived 20 minutes before closing. The cashier was kind and welcoming, but there was a blonde girl who told us we had to leave in 15 minutes. It was just us and another couple, and both groups left right at 8:00 PM.

As my wife walked out and said "thank you," the girl didn’t respond and seemed quite unfriendly. To make things worse, we sat outside briefly and saw her making hand gestures to the cashier, pointing at the benches, which felt unnecessary and rude.

This kind of attitude is disappointing, especially when you’re working with customers and the business is still growing. We truly hope she can improve her attitude because the product is great and we want to keep...

I walked into Acai Express in Cary expecting a humble bowl of fruit. What I got was a tropical transcendence. The Hawaiian Bowl didn’t just taste good. It spiritually relocated me to a beach in Maui where pineapples grow in perfect Fibonacci spirals and mangoes whisper affirmations. Every bite was a luau in my mouth, hosted by granola and coconut flakes wearing tiny sunglasses. My wife had the Hollywood Bowl, and let me tell you, she hasn’t stopped speaking in red carpet metaphors since. “It’s giving Oscar worthy acai,” she said, as blueberries paparazzi’d her spoon. The honey drizzle? A golden hour filter in edible form. The staff? Too friendly. I suspect they’re undercover wellness gurus. The ambiance?
