I've been to just about every Chick-fil-a in a 10 to 15 mile radius from my house, this one being the closest, and the worst location. I've put up with many issues over the years, but I'm finally done for good with this one. This is especially difficult right now because the next closest location, Walnut St, is closed for construction, so I'm left driving to Harrison Ave. It's worth it though because they clearly care about their customers thet are consistent and generous with their portion sizes.
The last issue that finally made me decide to stop with this location, A very long black, curly hair in my wrap. I picked it up at 8:45pm. They closed at 9pm and so I couldn't go back to return it until the next day. That meant I had no dinner for that night. When I did go back the next day, the manager apologized and refunded me for the food, but is that really enough? Personally I don't think it was good enough when I went to bed hungry.
Other issues I've had just in the last few months:
-Wraps are SO small with hardly any chicken. (Photo attached to show what I mean. This is just one photo for multiple times that this was an issue).
Ice cream cups are filled 1/3 of the way and other times overflowing.
-They are extremely inconsistent.
Fries are halfway full (photo attached to show an example.)
Multiple times fries are super greasy and simultaneously tasteless, I'm guessing no salt.
Weekly promotions never work! They often have a deal where if you go to their location and order food on Monday, you get a free item by Wednesday to use. I have NEVER had it work. It doesn't show up in my app or email. I've had to go inside, prove I ordered something that day, show the promotion because they never seem to know about it, even though their manager clearly sends it out, and after wasting an additional 5-8 minutes of my time, I finally get the little brownie or whatever it was. Not worth it.
I go to Chick-fil-a for my son and I about 5 or 6 times a month. Previously I'd say 75% of those times I'd go to Waverly, basically if I'm leaving from home I'd go to that location. Now I'm driving an extra 5 miles out of my way, round trip an extra 10 miles, to avoid it and go to a...
Read moreI could give them 0 stars i would,i don't know what has changed in the last week but management was horrible me and my co-worker who work in the area go to this location maybe 2-3x's a week and almost always it's really busy or they don't give a dam about you after you've already payed for your food. There is an older black lady who works there and i guess shes the table buster/drink refiller? anyways she had came to my table asked if we needed re-fills we both said "no thank you were fine" i mean i still had a full cup. After 10 minutes or so i'm getting ready to leave i walk over to the pickup counter with my friend to get a re-fill and i mean NOBODY even asked us if we had already been helped or if we needed something,,still waiting at this point when the older black lady walked up and said "what can i do for you" i said can we please gt a refill since we've been standing here for 10 min and nobody has cared to ask if we needed anything, she responded "they're not going to stop what there doing to get you a re-fill that's what i'm for" I was baffled that she really had said that to me,I told her " this is chick fil a you guys thrive on customer service so why is this any different" she goes " i asked if you wanted a refill when i went to your table" i told her i did not need a refill then thank you.Somebody needs to talk to her about her manners when she speaks to customers & get your management in order!!! Safe to say i will let the BBB know considering nothing has changed at...
Read moreThe owner of the company that I work for will periodically send me to Chick-Fil-A at Waverly place and as friendly and courteous as they all are, they have never gotten my order correct and it is very annoying and somewhat embarrassing when I return back to the office with incomplete orders. Particularly when they get the boss’s order incorrect and he is the one paying for it all.
Today, Thursday the 3rd of March 2016 at 0945hrs. was no different. I even ordered the boss’s order separately and payed for it separately and it still was wrong when I brought it back to the office! I ordered two number eights with extra nuts (not there), apparently there is also supposed to be brown sugar and dried fruit with it (not there). Even if I had done inventory on my order before I left I would not have known about the brown sugar and dried fruit that is supposed to be there.
In addition, I ordered five chicken & biscuits, two cream cheese bagels, and one chicken and biscuit with egg. They got all that correct. Too bad they couldn’t do that with the boss’s order which I mentioned to them was the bosses order and to please make sure they get it right. So much for that.
Next time I go I guess I’ll just have to empty the bag on the counter and spread it all out and itemize it...
