This place is the worst! I had gone to RISE several years ago and enjoyed their doughnuts. I was back in town and decided to try them again. What a horrible, subpar experience in every way. You walk in and there's no one to greet you. There's no customer "service" at all. There's a screen you order from. You can't see any of the doughnuts or other products. There are just some people working in the kitchen area. So you place your order on the screen and pay (and they have the nerve to have a tip screen---tip for who? You're placing your own order AND getting it). Then, with absolutely no instructions, you're supposed to somehow magically know how to get your food. I had to ask the kitchen staff who told me that my name would be on a large screen up near the ceiling on one of the walls. Then, when your order is up, one of the kitchen staff places it into a little "cubby" with a door. I honestly have no idea how to get it because one of the staff had pity on me and just handed it to me.
And btw, the doughnut was stale. Really bad. Don't go...
Read moreThis was my first time at this location. I haven't been to a Rise in years.
I walked in and placed an order at the one kiosk available (only option to place an order in store).
They have screens to show which orders are being prepared and which orders are ready. After placing an order, we waited about four 25 minutes to find that their system had some type of glitch and then all of a sudden a bunch of online orders popped up above our order.
Someone finally walked up to me and I asked about all the names that showed up and if online orders get priority over in store orders. I was told yes online orders her priority and we would get bumped down even after waiting so long.
At that point, I asked for a refund. Very disappointed after waiting all that time that no one felt the need to explain what was going on to everyone waiting and no apology.
IF you decide to eat here,...
Read moreI got the Cheddar Biscuit and Blue Berry biscuit. That Cheddar biscuit did not have cheese in the middle like I thought it was and it was dry. A lil cold choke biscuit at 7am being the 1st customer there, that biscuit should've been piping hot. The blue berry biscuit was disappointing and also cold. They have them just sitting out and it's very cold in there. Again, at 7am being the 1st customer, there's no reason a lil steam wasn't RISING from those biscuits. I gave the blue berry back. The lady tried to argue that the biscuits weren't cold. I'm glad others like Luke warm biscuits, I do not. 1st time and last time there.
Oh and there's just a Kiosk to order. Took me a min to realize that after waiting for help and nobody saying anything. No human connection may be why the food...
