On Friday, 4/25/25 at approximately 4:30 PM, I entered the restaurant for the first time. I was there to pick up a call-in order for a large pizza, ranch dressing, and a Coke. I was in a huge hurry and quite honestly, I was very rude and entitled on the phone when I was speaking to Addison. I was also very sorry for the way that I spoke to her.
When I arrived, I noticed how extremely busy the restaurant was. It was full of dine-in and carry-out customers. There were adequate staff members and one of them was, of course, Addison. I immediately apologized to her, explaining that I needed to get back to Tucson as soon as possible. Addison not only accepted my apology, but also put her acceptance into action. She placed a rush on my order and it came out in record time! Not only was my order hand-delivered to me by Addison, but it also passed, with flying colors, the pizza test. It looked incredible (well-balanced toppings, perfect char on the crust, and perfect doneness) and smelled amazing! Lastly, I think my heart stopped for a few seconds when I took my first bite…I mean, really???

Read moreMy family and I loved Barros-the - We used to go to the one on Pinal until this one was built as it’s a little bit closer. Last night there was a soft texture, medium length hair made into my pizza dough. I called Barros the next afternoon…. Advise them of the situation, no, sorry no questions about the color of the hair, or the texture of the hair. Just immediate interrogation…. Asking why I didn’t call that night when I ordered my food at 9:30. Because I know they close at 10 and by the time we started eating it was around 1015. I thought they were closed. I typically wouldn’t even get upset as I understand things happen, but it was the attitude of the so-called manager that I have an issue with. I came to your establishment, which we frequent very often (I have an account). I explain to you an issue that I had and you didn’t care. Then you continue with your lack of care and offer me a pizza credit that I can only use in store (still no apology, still no urgency). Why would I want a pizza credit from someone with no remorse?! I don’t trust you making my food at this point…. All it takes is some common courtesy, and THAT, will go a long way. I am not the type of person who is problematic, I am very understanding. Read moreI Don't know if you are supposed to seat yourself or what is going on at this location. There was just a massive crowd of people (that looked like they were waiting to be seated) so me and my family follwed suit. After a minute or two, I did notice that there were a lot of empty tables. There was also no staff or signs saying/mentioning anything regarding seating arrangements, reservations or how to place an order.
I felt like my trip here was just a waste of time waiting around a crowded lobby for 20+ minutes, staring at staff members pretending to be busy and ignoring the crowd of customers right in front of them. The huge lack of communication along with the crowd only getting larger led to me and my family walking out the front door. My suggestion to others: Take your business elsewhere and if you absolutely want Barro's try their other location that's more straightforward. Or better yet, make the drive and go to Costco or BJs.
