Food has never been bad, & workers are usually quite friendly, but unfortunately like many places don't seem trained to think outside what they have been told. However, it seems most issues leads back to a lack of common sense. It's a bit confusing to me, why biscuits are only in the morning. What chicken place doesn't have biscuits all dang day? I know this happened once before and I forgot about it. Then recently when I went to redeem a "chicken biscuit" reward I excitingly saw one afternoon, to be told that is breakfast only. Corporate gave some garbage about being able to focus on other foods during the day. Ya, they are right, KFC /Popeyes hasn't figured out how to warm a biscuit after 10:30 🙄 . Biggest issue getting me to like them, is don't send rewards by email, but utilize the app I have to use for everything else. Rewards are lost in Google email, and you only see it after they expire essentially. Why not have the app alert you of a reward (like every other food app out there does)? 🤔
The reason I say that comes down to common sense, is that they could have solved the problem by offering whatever bread they use after 10:30 and throw a piece of chicken on it & sending out rewards more sensical. But rather, they send out an email at 1am for an offer that is only good that morning. So when you randomly look at the app that afternoon & you see a free chicken biscuit that 99% of people would expect to be served all day, it's quite a disappointment to drive there & be told we can't do that right now (or even offer an alternative). Unless I'm way off here, I don't know many people that frequent fast food type establishments, to also be ones reading their emails or checking the stock...
Read moreI visited Chick-fil-A last Tuesday, and as usual, it was a pretty solid experience. The service was definitely a highlight. Even though it was during what seemed like a busy lunch rush, the employees were incredibly friendly and efficient. They got my order taken and delivered quickly, and everyone I interacted with had a smile on their face and was polite. You really can't fault them for customer service. The food was also consistent with what you expect from Chick-fil-A. My chicken sandwich was hot and juicy, and the bun was soft. The waffle fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned. You know what you're getting, and they deliver on that consistently. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus. However, as is often the case with Chick-fil-A, it was quite busy. The drive-thru line was wrapped around the building, and there were a fair number of people dining inside. This meant it was a little loud and finding a table took a moment. Overall, it was a typical Chick-fil-A experience: great food, outstanding service, and a clean environment, though expect it to be busy, especially during peak hours. It's a reliable choice for a quick...
Read moreSuper slow drive-through. Regardless of how many cars in line, service is on the slower side. I have been here 4 times in the last month and a half/2 months and we are 4 for 4 on drive-through delays. I left without my breakfast order last month because I couldn’t wait any longer, I had to be at work (waited 17min in line). I wanted to give this location the benefit of the doubt so I tried again; I have tried morning versus evening, however, no difference in speed. I have attempted mobile-thru 2 of the 4 times hoping that it would be faster but it didn’t matter because I joined the same drive-thru lane and waited for 15+ minutes. I’m sad to say that this location is SIGNIFICANTLY SLOWER than the other 2 locations in the Grand Rapids area. Staff are friendly, always smiling, but I do feel there should be discussion on how to work as a team more efficiently? Improving the urgency on tasks while still maintaining the quality of service. Hoping this location can improve this and make it more seamless and comparable to the other...
