Zorbas is a cozy, family-owned spot offering classic Greek and Mediterranean fare. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with friendly service and décor that nods to Greece. The menu covers all the favorites—hummus, spanakopita, falafel, gyros, and kebabs—with generous portions and plenty of vegetarian choices. Local favorites include the Chicken & Gyro combo and lamb or chicken kebab plates, often praised for their flavor and value. While most reviews are glowing, a few note that some dishes like salads can be hit or miss. Overall: A great neighborhood choice for hearty Mediterranean meals in a relaxed, inviting setting.

Welcome to the best spot to transport you to the Grecian isles in SATX!! Gyros are super delicious (eaten up before a picture could be taken)! Great atmosphere to make you feel like you are welcome. Sarah, our server, was friendly and attentive. 100% won over as my new go to for Mediterranean. Impressed even more when a stereotypical 'Karen' came through the open door with closed signs up after an unexpected early closure due to food shortage on a Sunday afternoon. Manager and staff kept composure and responded with a positive, kind response even during the heat of her threats and rage. Kudos!!

Figured I would give this Zorbas a try. Small restaurant with a fairly nice interior. It was slow i was the only customer seated. Service was fine food came out very fast too fast actually made me think the chicken was pre cooked. I think it was it was pretty dry. Gyo meat was okay. The salad lacked any feta cheese or olives which are pretty standard at most greek places. Also got my dine in food in a togo box I mean I get it Corona and all but other places I go give me a real plate with silverware. Doubt I will return Demos and Pappoullis are much better.

My husband and I arrived at this place around 2:45pm on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. We have never been here before and we were so excited to see if we could add another good restaurant to our list.

Complete empty, no problem usually we have that energy that if we walk into an empty place, people will just start showing up.

We order, the attendant was pleasant at this time. I wanted a chicken gyro and even though it was a “Greek” food restaurant, the attendant didn’t want to substitute the beef & lamb gyro with chicken.

She explained that the chicken didn’t do well with the pita bread but, that she could make whatever I wanted except that. The only chicken that they have was a wrap and I ask her if I could have all that the gyro included, on a wrap. She said sure.

I still don’t understand the logic of her explanation but, when in Rome do as the Roman’s.

When the food was brought to our table my husband’s gyro look good but, my wrap looked like a quesadilla barely any lettuce, only one half tomate, a few onions and one small spoonfuls of Greek sauce.

Even though I was two tables away from the attendant and there was no one else, I signaled her to please come over our table, when she got to the table, I asked her if the amount of the sauce was what they usually put, I wanted to know because they charge $1.50 for more and I didn’t want her to charge for what I felt was not a reasonable amount of sauce to begin with.

She was very much affected by my question.

She asked: why did I asked me to come to the table. (She wanted me just to tell her front the table that I needed more sauce. )

I was shocked with her words and attitude.

Me: I told her that since it was our first time I wanted to make sure that maybe someone in the kitchen didn’t notice the miss calculation, that the wrap needed the sauce in the whole wrap not just on the front.

She said: I don’t appreciate you making me get up and come to the table to show me anything. You could’ve said you wanted more sauce.

Me: (I apologize), if you feel insulted or disrespected by me inquiring about the sauce, I’m very sorry.

She said: I don’t care if you feel sorry.

Me: (looked at my husband)

Husband: I feel you are being misunderstanding my wife, this is our first time and she is just being polite asking you a question instead of raising her voice or asking you from a distance, she just asked a question.

She replied: If you don’t like it, you can leave.

My husband: Miss, I work for a living in restaurants and customers usually are aloud to ask many questions without this type of response from the attendant.

I took one bite of the distasteful wrap before anything started, my husband took a few fries while this was happening.

He didn’t taste the gyro because of course, when she said if you don’t like it you can leave, we left.

Is so unfortunate.

As we are getting up and walking out she says, I’m sorry.

My husband replied, no you’re not.

Never ever would we be coming back...

My wife and I tried Zorba's last night. We had the whole place to ourselves, which was quite a shock because the food and service was awesome. We were immediately greeted and handed menus, and drink order taken. Our server was super friendly, and provided insight on any menu items we were unsure of. We ordered the Mezza Plate, Chicken Gyro, and Lamb/Beef Gyro both with greek salads instead of the fries. I loved most of it! I only say most of it because the food was delicious, but I did not care for the baba ganoush off the mezza plate. I normally don't like eggplant, but the baba ganoush had great flavor, except I wasn't fond of the texture. This was my first time having it and wanted to try everything. Aside from that personal preference issue, it was all wonderful and I will definitely be back to try more of the menu. Hummus and Tzatziki were on point! Falafel was tasty. The gyros were fresh, delicious, and all that. We also tried a can of Vimto Fruit Drink. If you go to Zorba's, you have to try one. It was really good! At the very end of our meal, we were asked if we would like to try dessert. I was full, but I'm glad I said let's go for it because my wife ordered the Baklava. OMG! BEST FRIGGIN BAKLAVA EVER!!!! You could tell it was made fresh in house and not vender bought. fresh chopped pistachios and honey wrapped in filo dough.... I can't wait to go back. The pricing was super reasonable too. You have no...

Terrible quality of slices of lamb, I was highly hesitant to actual go though with my order however previous experiences were exceptional especially having on one visit since Covid speaking with the founder wife

As someone that have previously worked and personally carved lamb as it rotated I have first hand experience with a quality gyro sandwich again this was the unacceptable visit yesterday "first one out of thirty"

What saddens me is how much explanation I felt I received from the son of the owner expressing how they have been cutting there lamb the same way for 13 years

When his own mom had presented to us freshly carved strips during our precious visit before yesterday

I drove from Westover Hills area after seeing mutiple others closer to drive to than here, but again our experiences previously were outstanding and even so here in regard to hospitality but the quality was one that I had...
