Hello, everyone, from Ted. You will not experience a consignment store like this. I have traveled the world and have been in countless antique and consignment stores, but I have never seen anything comparable to Bygones. They have items that are simply one of a kind, with great price points to match. Every time I walk in the store, and it is often, I notice a huge turnover. That says something about the ownership and staff; they know what they are doing. Speaking of the staff, I have been an acquainted with Tiffany, Yvonne, and Armando for about three years. Both ladies have an eye for detail and truly understand the finesse of a conversation, particularly when the client does not really know what they are looking for, or how to make a piece fit/work. They will lead you in the right direction without following you around the store and constantly breathing over your shoulder, or making you feel pressured into buying something. Armando has delivered two large items for me with white glove service. You will not be disappointed with a visit to this store. This is by far the absolute best consignment store in San Antonio! Unique pieces from all over the world! Most items are not available for purchase anymore, so buying these meticulously cared for pieces at a consignment store are the only way to obtain these gems. The owner Tiffany is an Interior Decorator who will gladly help you with your choices. Yvonne is also very fashion savvy and can put together a vignette in minutes! If you find something you like buy it, chances are it won't be there tomorrow. The store is a fantastic place for home decor. The selection is great. I found the prices to be fair. Most importantly was customer service. Yvonne greeted us when we entered, even though she appeared to be assisting a customer. As I was wandering through the store I heard her welcoming back customers who had shopped there before. The store front is inviting with Christmas decorations inviting you to check the store out. No, I did not get paid to write this, and yes, I have shopped there once before (several years back). I am writing because I WANT every one who is looking for a home decor shop to experience what I have experienced. Seasons...
