Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Castle Rock

This Cold Stones is very unsanitary! I went in yesterday to get my son and I ice cream and a woman walked into the establishment asking for her shake to be remade because it wasn’t thick enough. Mind you I had been standing in line for over ten minutes. The staff offered to make her a new shake and she said that wasn’t necessary they just needed to make the current one thicker. The staff member took her shake from her and dumped it back in the blender to remake her shake. After it was all said and done the staff member proceeded to make others ice cream with the same gloves on that grabbed the cup from the customer who returned to the store with a cup that had left the store. So not only did the staff member take a cup back from a customer and dumb the continents back into the blender the staff member also didn’t remove those gloves and wash their hands to put on new gloves. I will never return to this...

I don’t agree at all. I believe they made the wrong size reread it and dropped it in and called it good. This store has frequent issues with rude and lazy employees. I looked over the last issue about a year or so ago because it was one of the few places with dairy free ice cream but never again. They need significant improvements to be made across the board to address this and stop making excuses.

I see the owner in there working alongside his employees, which brings me great joy. They are always super friendly. The only thing I don't like about this place is the singing. Though the employees get really into it, I am not sure it's fun for them. More power to them if they do. It creates an awkward vibe, IMO.
