Smoothie King — Restaurant in Castle Rock

So terrible experience. First both kids on the back don’t talk. Don’t communicate with each other let alone any customers walking in and out. Don’t say hello, thank you, have a good day… nothing. Also the owner needs to help them out. The boys in the back are very unorganized. Going back and fourth between blending and taking orders.. you should have stations. Way faster for one person to stay in one spot. One guy blending and scooping the other taking orders and prepping smoothies. Waited over 25 min for a smoothie. That’s way to long. Owner please help them out. No gloves, touching hair, pants, money then products and smoothies. Smoothie cup came out dirty and spilling over side. Smoothies came out.. how they came out. Not saying anything else about it. Didn’t say have a nice day or anything even after I said thank you. Put a smile on every once in a while.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place and I am SO happy that it is in Castle Rock. Their staff is always friendly and helpful, and the smootgies are always very good. I love all of the options, and the ability to add extra stuff to the smootgies. For me, I have to make sure that my food is gluten free and high in protein. So I love that I am able to add protein and fiber to my smoothie. They also have a rewards program, so be sure to search for their app and follow the instructions to start earning point towards free smoothies! The point add up to $1 off all the eay up to $7 off. Redeeming a point reward can only be done once per order. Be sure to pay attention to that and the expiration date. Always be sure to scan your app at check out to earn points, and if you forget, save your receipt because you can enter in your purchase using photos of your receipt. Fridays are always $5 Fridays, and you get a 32oz....

Had a bad experience here. Maybe it's just because it was newer at the time I visited but I had to wait about 25-30min for my drink during a rush hour. Even then I was the 3rd one in line when I walked in but there were still about 4-5 people waiting around for their drinks. Even customer's that ordered before me had things wrong with their order, either the wrong size drinks or the wrong drink out right.

The drink was good but its not worth waiting that long for the cost of the drink. Sometimes I don't have that much time for lunch and paying almost 10 dollars for a large smoothie is a little over the top. I think the owners are just chalking it up to be a new location because I didn't even get a response back when sending comments in for this location. Go during non peak hours if you want quick service, hopefully. I couldn't tell you since I only have been once...
