I have to admit, we’ve been a bit taken back by so many negative reviews. We have lived in Castle Rock for nearly 2 years and have always loved Popeyes. Nevertheless, we have somewhat stayed clear of this location due to the reviews we had read. — However, I was really craving some spicy chicken, my wife felt the same, and the kids really wanted to try their chicken strips. So, we went ahead and ordered everything online for pickup.
The online ordering process was made extremely easy/user-friendly. There is a point system, rewards, discounts, specials, etc. When we actually arrived at the drive-through, there were about five cars in front of us, and the line went extremely fast. We maybe waited for all of 5-7 minutes. When we got to the window, our pre-placed order was ready to go, hot, and included everything exactly as we ordered it. When we brought it home and opened it, the food was still extremely crispy, hot, appetizing, and exactly as we could have hoped; particularly the cajun fries which is rare from “any” fast food restaurant we bring home.
The service was terrific with our brief encounter, I highly recommend pickup based on our experience. Although, yes, the same could be said about mine; nevertheless, this just goes to show you can’t always, trust every review you read online. This location had terrific food, service, atmosphere, taste, and price.

Read moreI hope corporate takes this seriously and contacts me after leaving this on their website. I don't write reviews either, but this was too awful to keep to myself. Especially since I still don't have my refund . was there on 5 July.I waited in the drive through for about 20 minutes. I received the wrong order .What I did receive had spilled all over the bottom of the bag (mashed potatoes and gravy) .I went in the store to ask the manager to fix it .She was pissed, flustered at her crew, took my food and said I can either have my refund or my food .I said give me a refund. She took my receipt and my debit card. Then SHE PUT DOWN MY CARD IN PLAIN SITE AND WALKED AWAY!!! Meanwhile, other customers were having similar issues .One kid that worked there cussed me out in front of everyone and said I was causing them to get behind and they have people to take care of .The manager went back for my card, went to the window computers, and did whatever. She came back and gave me my card. She said I was good. I asked for a receipt. She said she can't get one. I said that's ridiculous and to see if she could pull it from another computer then .She told me she can't pull up transactions on any other computer and the printer won't work on she needed to print from. She said hold on, went to the same computer, and printed a receipt for someone in the drive through . I asked how did that receipt print if mine will not. She said it doesn't print receipts when you do refunds I said fine, when will I see my money again ? She said she didn't know. I said her name tag says general manager so why doesn't she know? Then she told me she has other customers to take care of. So, it's two weeks later .I have no receipts, I don't have my refund, and I'm incredibly pissed at the entire situation. Read moreThis location seems to have major service issues. After 4-5 times of trying to order online, the food was never ready when I got there. After the 2nd or 3rd time I was pretty fed up having to wait another 10-15min when I got there but after talking with Customer service for feedback they took care of me. I was still mad about previous services and stopped going here for over a month when I usually would stop here 2-3 times a week. Even after giving it a break and came back with an online order not long ago, the same exact thing happened. The point of ordering online is so you don’t even have to wait. There was even a time I was there almost a hour after placing the order and it still wasn’t ready. I kept quiet until now but since this is a repeated pattern, the public deserves to know to not order from here. I’m officially boycotting Popeyes due to poor service at this location.
Seems like the workers here never check for online orders until you pull up because every time they didn’t start it until I asked for it. Even if you order through the drive through, when the food is not ready they will tell you to pull around the front and wait for your food. Even when they do this I have been forgotten about twice to the point I have to go in anyway and show my receipt. Never had issues with food quality here but the service truly sucks. There is a Chick-fil-A really close by along with a KFC not too much farther away. Luckily you have options in the area. Good luck and hope you get the service you deserve but I doubt it since this place will not...
