Well well well... here we are again. Take a seat and listen to the story of my excursion to Waffle House. We walked into the Waffle House with high expectations, and walked out with little to no respect for the restaurant. We found a booth for the three of us to sit, and started to look at the menu. In the next 10-12 minutes our waitress came over to take our order. I ordered tha All star special with an extra Waffle , my friend ordered two waffles and hash browns and my brother ordered the Texas bacon egg and cheese melt. Our waitress soon scampered back to our table with our waters which had particles floating around in them. As far as I know, it was Ebola in a cup. The kitchen was nasty as I could clearly see. A steak on the grill was blue and there was food on the floor. One eternity later the server came to the table with two waffles along with a sandwich and one more Waffle. We began to eat thinking that the rest of our food would soon arrive. Oh boy was I wrong. Within 20 minutes I built up the confidence to ask where the other 3/4 of our food was. She said "oh you guys are the ones that ordered the all star." She brought me over my food but my brother was still short hash browns and I was missing my bacon. The bacon was clearly staring me in my eyeball sockets sitting next to the grill. Another 15 minutes passed and I asked for my bacon. The waitress dropped a few "F Bombs" and brought me my bacon which can hardly even be considered bacon. We almost had all of our food, but my brother was still deprived of his hash browns. He asked for them and they had not even began to cook them yet. The man and woman at the table behind us were demanding that they get their waffles as well and they walked out without paying. We eventually got the rest of the food and payed for our food. The price tag would have made you think we were livin' large at a 5 star restaurant, but we were actually just at a dump that...
Read moreMy son’s credit card payment is due on oct 14, so he took all his receipts out to reconcile the statement( today, oct 13). He found out there is a $26.40 charge from Waffle House on Aug 27 but his receipt is only $16.40. We decided to go to the restaurant to talk to the manager. After looking at the receipt, restaurant worker phoned the manager about the situation. Worker came back from office and told us that we have to wait for 40 minutes for the manager. We waited. Manager Adam showed up after 40 minutes. He took my son’s receipt and statement to the office and told us that he need to talk to his manager. We waited some more. He came back from the office and told my son that my son has to go through the bank to dispute this charge instead of resolving the issue right there and then. My son has been a regular customer at this Castle Rock location for a few years, even the cook knows him. He usually just ordered at the counter and leaves right after he finished his meal. The manager for some reason would not resolve the fruadulant charge by one of his employees, and proceeded to instruct my son to go through all paper work to get his $10.00 back. Server’s dishonesties shouldn’t cause customer’s trouble. We are very disappointed about this restaurant and manager Adam and his manager. My son will file a dispute with the bank tomorrow. For any potential customers to this restaurant in Castle Rock, make sure you check your statement if you pay with a credit card. Don’t want to get rip off by...
Read moreI was just in Waffle House this morning where I noticed a young man who said he was trying to order food for him and his pregnant wife to-go (after calling Waffle House to make a complaint to the manager the call was ignored and it informed me that I can order to-go in the store but not over the phone so he was not in the wrong) he was told that he cannot order and so he walked out and what seemed to be trying to call and make a complaint. He then came back to let the manager and employee that were very rude to him know that he made a complaint and the way they are acting they shouldn’t be employed by a company that has always held such high standard for the people that represent it. They then informed they don’t care about losing their job and began screaming at him to leave and to go make his own eggs. I have lived in Castle Rock over 15 years and never once seen such unprofessionalism by anyone at any restaurant here in town but I will no longer be bringing myself or my family to Waffle House unless I find out these employees are out of there. I hope that young man is taken care of, THAT...
