I've made a few items over several occasions and it has always been a great experience. Staff are very friendly! Essentially you pick a dry clay item and paint the glaze on, then a week later you get to pick up your items after they fire it in their kiln. Make sure you follow their guidelines of atleast 3 layers of glaze on items as I thought I added enough in previous sessions but it always turned out thin in areas. Cost is slightly expensive but it's definitely worth a date...

The prices of the pottery may come off as a little pricey ($27 for a bowl) but one must keep in mind that includes as much paint as you want, as well as getting it fired in the kiln, not to mention the experience.
