Really cool experience for anyone who is out of the area. The climb is short - probably 20 ish minutes. Great way to oversee the area of Castle Rock and get a little hike in. I highly recommend as a nice tourist attraction. One thing is that the parking is strange. You park in a little half-circle. Makes you think you shouldn’t park there but it is the designated parking area.

An easy hike for adults and children alike! I prefer the east-side hike, but this can be dicey in the snow. If hiking in winter, I recommend the west-side hike, as this is drier. Parking can be found on Front Street, or either on Sunset Drive or Canyon Drive. However, these are in neighborhoods, so space is limited.

Nice hike, two trails leading up to the summit. I did both 😎😁. Parking was a challenge to find as the main parking lot was closed for a weekend event and one trailhead did not allow parking because it was a neighborhood. Finally found a spot along the road on the north side (there are signs permitting parking).

Pretty good. Short and easy 30 min hike up. Wear good threaded shoes if going during winter. Many people were slipping with their soless shoes. Can't climb all the way up (on top of the rocks) easily (at your own risk). Make sure to take the same trail you took upas down so you end up in the same place you started because otherwise you'll have to walk the perimeter of the park to get back to your car,...

Excellent short loop hike! Its possible to access the top from the east face, but this requires a rock scramble. I would recommend the marked trails for any age and ability, though it is not ADA accessible. I personally would only recommend the rock scramble at the top for those with steady footing and agility...
