McDonald's — Restaurant in Cathedral City

April 26, 2018... Funny ... This McDonald's has fake reviews as well.. the most recent reviews make me laugh... Sort of.. .. please.. how about.. just clean up your McDonald's Restaurant. Make the menu items to McDonald's Corporation standards ... then give the place four and five stars.. until then.. BE HONEST ..

Older..UPDATE: 🤤😞😤🤧😥😥 OK.. A Mr. Randy Watkins, McDonald's Director of Training, Shalhoub McDonald's, for this McDonald's and several other Shalhoub McDonald's restaurants throughout the Coachella Valley sent me a apology letter today for issues I posted here on Google about this McDonald's in Cathedral City. **see below... He also sent me a FREE sandwich voucher. I WILL BE RETURNING THIS VOUCHER along with a letter explaining our experience tonight. Please see pictures attached.

THIS McDonald's restaurant needs to be shut down by the Riverside County Health Department....(SERIOUSLY) before someone gets sick or worse. ** And Cleaned from top to bottom. ** Policies and Procedures need to be rewritten and adhered to. **Empoyees need to be re-trainned on Customer Service, Cleaning Procedures, and Compliance with McDonald's philosophy and standards. **Point of sale terminals are FILTHY... With today's FLU epidemic, these terminals should be wiped down with a disinfectant multiple times a day.

.......Management here is beyond bad. The food is gross. The service is horrible. The staff has created a list of failed orders with customers names on it offering free replacement meals on their next visit. The list was long. I know this because the staff came to our table with the list..... The picture below of the Artisan Chicken sandwich is what was given to us. McDonald's Corporation should be ashamed! Quality is in the toilet at this location. The staff actually told us that is how the sandwich come out each time. We asked them to replace it with a burger Dick Shalhoub the owner (I believe) of these franchises SHOULD BE ASHAMED.

Ok..... This McDonald's is VERY DIRTY. See PHOTOS! The manager has her family here and is letting her son scream and run around the restaurant. LOOK.... I get that it is hard to get and keep good staff... But where do you draw the line?!?... There is someone's BOOM BOX in the kitchen area with Rock music on loud... a Television in the dining room..loud...and her screaming child. NOT FUN!! And to cap things off three very dirty homeless people have come in through the patio area and filled up their sippy cups from various other restaurants. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS OF THE DRINK DISPENSER. Coca-Cola should pull their products from this location. The employees hand washing station is covered with boxes.... Where are they washing their hands!!??

McDonald's franchise department needs to pull this locations...

Used app to generate code, cashier couldnt get it to work. Manager overrode it. Tried to use rewards points again the code was not correct item. Obviously a glitch with app, manager insinuated I was trying to scam them, I very calmly and assertively told her she was wrong, and in the most unnecessary and disrespectful escalation the woman pulls out her phone and says she's calling the cops. It was a million miles from needing police intervention. I literally disagreed with her assertion I was being dishonest and she felt that warranted police. Id hate to be that women's significant other. End up in jail for disagreeing with her. McDonalds, you f'd me off for no reason whatsoever. Your app caused the issue but I got blamed for it. There's so many other options for breakfast nearby id encourage you to try them instead. I am in the process of filing a formal complaint and hope this...

This is the WORST Mcdonalds location. It used to be comparable to other locations but in the past year it has plummeted in all categories. Last night at 8:15pm, there were no lights in the drive thru. NONE. The drive thru, the menu, nothing had lights...it was pitch dark and looked closed. But it wasn't. I came there for 1 reason...a dozen chocolate chip cookies...they said they could only give me 5. The location is convenient for me on my commutes (thus my attempts). The previous attempt was 5 days ago...I got very stale, hard-to-chew, fries. I had to ask for fresh fries and the drive thru person was telling me "no, they're fresh". They only replaced them because I insisted...there was a significant difference. The Smoke Tree location is the EXACT opposite. Even thought it is totally out of my way, I have to go here for better...
