Big Deck Energy Games — Local services in Cathedral City

I was on vacation, said to my parents "hey could I get some pokemon cards" they said sure and after a few trips to GameStops buying card packs, I still didn't find my favorite pokemon on a card. I look up card shops in my area and none made more of an impression on me then the name "Big Deck Energy Games". After waiting two days and laughing about the name with my parents, we went. both my parents expected a corner store not very big with overpriced items, but I held out hope that a shop with such an amazing name had some amazing shop. So when we got there and me and my dad went in, we were blown away. You had people in he corner playing magic the gathering on nice looking tables, some people going through pokemon bulk, and 2 very nice looking very well educated nerds. They answered all my pokemon card questions and helped create a fun atmosphere. I spent the next 2 hours going through pokemon bulk and getting all the cards I could ever want for a price that would give any other company a heart attack. I mean it, if your looking for an pitcular pokemon or gathering card in general, this is the place to go. I ask anyone who reads this to please give them bulk cards, they are genuinely good people and I hope that they can get another location. I would go again compared to other places. Best of...

This was my first time in, it’s been so hard to find any Pokémon cards and this place actually has a good selection of singles, packs and a lot to sealed product like booster boxes and booster bundles. They have a lot of selection for the sets as well, only thing I didn’t see was prismatic which wasn’t surprising. It also looked like they have a. Good selection of MTG and Lorcana. Also had a bunch of tables set up for playing the games. The service was very professional and friendly, they also have very reasonable prices. The only bad thing is it’s a lot closer to my house than the other card shop out here so I’m going to be spending more money on pokemon cards, haha. This is such a wonderful place for tabletop gaming as it is for those looking just to unwind and be in a calming atmosphere. The staff here are so kind and knowledgeable. I stopped in to check this place out while waiting for my car to be serviced and browsed a bit.

They have a wide selection of casual games from Uno all the way to D&D content, trading cards, etc. They also offer cozy activities like puzzles as well as snacks for you to much on while you pass some time.
