Would give zero stars if I could. We came here seeing good Google reviews but would recommend checking yelps instead.
If you want cold food after an hour long wait on a weekday and receive horrible service, have a great time here! During a pandemic you’d think people would try harder to run their business more professionally with quality service, and not use subpar ingredients.
I was visiting from out of town and you couldn’t pay me to come back. Literally go anywhere else in the area. (Any negative reviews look to be fought back with by the owner - so I’ll be waiting 😂)
Unfortunately, a completely avoidable dispute over the bill happened at the end between management and our group and I’d highly recommend and hope in the future they receive better training in conflict resolution / management so others don’t have to go through the same thing.
Edit: the owners comment below is completely inaccurate and I wish them all the best. I highly recommend the staff and management be better trained in conflict management so situations like ours can be avoided in the future, especially over simple matters like the bill. The only cursing was when the owner called my sister a b** as we left the restaurant. The only threat that was made was when we were told the police would be called on us for writing a bad review (again, by the owner) Regardless of what the owner feels happened, the service was lack luster and the food...
Read morePoor and inefficient but polite service perhaps due to staffing. No real options for celiac/ gluten allergic nor for vegans. Weird spice profile in the salsa was enough for me to avoid ever going back. Great open air patio and nice music but have to wonder why this place wasn't packed on Cinco de Mayo. We found out why. Potato fries (like English chips) were amazing but weren't enough to salvage an overall disappointing dining experience. Sorry to savage this restaurant. Dinner salad and fried cauliflower were very good. Addendum- Management replied to my review with a accusatory retort calling me incapable of being pleased. I doubt that and have had great dining experiences at places with a lot less going for it. At this place, perhaps it's normal for customers of this establishment to have to wait more than 15 minutes to be acknowledged by wait staff, another 25 minutes+ to receive drinks, have to request utensils after food arrives, and receive water as we're asking for the bill. While I agree that accommodating customers with a significant (and YET common food) allergy or restriction can be difficult, making us feel like we're the ones being overly critical in an obvious service fail situation is neither fair nor called for. The reply isn't visible on the review page so who knows if you can gain insight...
Read moreNot able to give food or service any stars because there was none. This restaurant offers open seating . I came into the restaurant well after Peak dinner hour, and only a few tables were occupied. After several minutes one employee acknowledged the fact that I'd been waiting a long time and said she'd send someone right over. Several minutes later another employee rushed by and said someone would be right with me. A few minutes later I got up from my table and walked over to get my own menu. Then a young Man Waiter finally came over and answered questions about menu items and took my order. 30 minutes later I asked him to check on my order. I saw him remain in place where he was for several more minutes, then went into the kitchen once, returned without even looking my direction. Waited several more minutes, he again went into the kitchen and returned but went straight over to three young females at the bar and started flirting. At that point I walked out. Still hungry. I question whether my order was ever put in. Don't give these people your business. They don't deserve it
Update after seeing somebody's response to my negative review is that no it was not Peak hours! And no the waiter DID NOT SAY ANYTHING about it taking a long time. Doesn't matter anyway, I shall never darken...
