Subway — Restaurant in Cave Junction

Food is consistent and edible, but I am moved to write a review on their terrible customer service policies. My family and I came through and ordered some sandwiches to take to the river with us, but when we got to the water and opened up our meals, they messed up terribly. I left the kiddos with their dad and drove the 20 mins back to the restaurant to ask them to remake the food and to refund me the money, since it was their mistake and I had to go to the trouble to drive all the way back. There was a manager on site and they refused to refund, despite it being their fault. He stated that I could either take the food, or the refund, but not both. Now, I could understand that policy if I'd opened it up in the parking lot and found what I did, but considering all the extra trouble, it seems like pretty terrible customer service. The girl with brown long hair was called to the front to help & wasn’t going to wash her hands before putting on gloves. (And wasn’t happy I mentioned it) Then she got avocado on my wrapper from someone else’s order. My bill was $10.68 ~ I gave her $11.03 The machine gives me .32 cents ?? I didn’t wanted pennies, so I push the pennies back towards her & as she’s asking if I want my receipt, she took the pennies. . then the nickel & quarter & then shut the drawer !!?? Uh, you just totally messed that up. “No I didn’t” I didn’t want to tip her poor attitude but at that point, I was done. Fine, keep my money & I walked out. Her drawer is going to be off. I eat there all the time. Well I used to. The women that owns that subway needs to fire the one young gal in there that has absolutely zero customer service or atleast try to sit and explain to her how to treat customers. The young gentlemen should absolutely be the manager there not only because his customer service but the amazing sandwich’s he makes. I sometimes won’t even go In to get sandwich’s if I see she’s working because her attitude as well as how poorly she makes sandwiches. Like I said. Do yourself a favor and promote that boy in there.
