On Monday, September 29th between 11:45am/noon my sister and I visited this Dunkin Donuts. There were 6 to 7 cars in the drive thru, so we went inside the location. Inside the location there were 8 to 10 people waiting for app orders. There were 5 employees behind the counter along with a small child between 2 to 3 years old that belonged to 1 of the employees. A female employee waited on a customer in line ahead of us at the register and then walked away. My sister and I then walked up to the register and waited. There was a female employee working the drive thru. A male employee was assisting those waiting inside the store for app orders. The 3 remaining female employees were standing around talking to each other while the child walked around touching everything behind the counter. All 5 employees at some point walked past us at the register and never acknowledged us. After waiting at the register for over 5 minutes, I said to the group of employees that we were not waiting for an app order and wanted to make a purchase. The male employee told us that we needed to submit an app order. A customer then spoke up and said that a current app order had over a 1 hour wait time. I then told the male employee that I didn’t want to make an app order, was currently in the store, had been waiting at the register, and wanted to make a purchase. He then yelled at me that they were busy and he would not take my in store purchase order. None of the other employees said anything and continued talking to each other. My sister and I then left the location without another word or purchase.
I understand that the store probably was very busy because of the free National Coffee Day; however, there were 5 employees in the store with only 2 of them actually taking orders and completing them. Three of them were standing around “busy” talking and complaining loudly about different customers. They also were not watching whomever’s child was behind the counter. He was touching all the equipment and had access to the food, knives and hot surfaces. We observed the child touch a hot surface while waiting at the register. This is a health code violation and safety issue.
We were customers inside the store during normal business hours, waiting patiently to make a purchase, refused service without cause and unable to receive our free coffee or order food. We were denied service and yelled at just because we don’t want to order our food thru the app while inside the store. I will never return and take my business to their...
Read moreThis was the most disrespectful discourteous service I have every received. The girl making food had 3 inch nails and wore no gloves! Imagine the cross contamination and worst mishandling of food I have ever seen!
It was 9am on Saturday the 23rd, I placed my order in the app ahead of time, my card was charged. I ordered a few sandwiches, coffees and donuts for our road trip for the day. We go to the store about 9:20. There was no order. I showed the girl handling the drive thru she confirmed on my screen the correct shop and the order was placed and charged but our order "was not on the screen". The young gentlemen behind the counter said I can get your coffees and donuts but not your sandwiches. We went to the counter gave the young men the coffee order and requested our two donuts. I thanked them graciously and went to the sandwich counter to wait for our sandwiches. After about five minutes I asked Miss Nails if she was making our sandwiches. She informed me I can't they aren't on the screen. I said to her that the other lady at drive thru confirmed our order and the payment, what's the issue. She said I can't take this then disappeared to the back. After a couple of minutes she came back and approached me asking to see the order on my phone. I went to open the app and said I don't know what the issue is the order was confirmed by the boys up front and the drive thru girl confirmed order and payment so I don't see what the problem is. She saw the order on the app. Miss Nails smirked as I went to pull up the order and it was gone from my phone. At that moment she got very defensive and the boys at the counter quickly backed her up. I turned to her stating the $10 loss was not worth sitting there arguing so we turned and left.
I will never return there no matter how much I want my dunkin I'll go out of my way to avoid those nasty rude disrespectful bunch of employees. No more than children. I have never been so...
Read moreThis place used to be GREAT! I used to drive out of my way to go there because of how great the service was. Today, I recieved the worse service I have ever received - at any drive thru. The line was long but it usually goes pretty quick so I didn’t mind waiting. I waited for approximately 10 minutes until I pulled up to the window (only 2-3 cars ordered during this time). I get to the menu to order and no one says anything. I was watching the minutes because at this point, this wait was making me late. But, I thought maybe they were having a tough morning- I will give them the benefit of the doubt. I waited a full 3 minutes at the menu before deciding to pull up further because in my mind, there was NO way a drive thru would let someone sit there for a full 3 minutes without saying anything. No one said “give us a few minutes”. I literally didn’t hear a word. I waited another 5 minutes or so until more cars moved forward and I got to the window. Again, no one approached the window for another 30 seconds. The female at the window then approaches the window and says “$16” and throws her hand out. I politely told her: “I actually haven’t ordered yet. I wasn’t sure if you were having issues with your speaker because I couldn’t hear anything so I pulled up”. She cut me off and said “you can’t order here, I have a line wrapped around the building!” I thought to myself: “Yes, I know, I just sat in it for 20 minutes”. Instead, I just said Okay and drove off. It’s crazy how many people work in customer service positions but clearly aren’t cut out to be in the industry. Needless to say, I won’t be going to this location anymore. And from the looks of everyone else sitting in the line, they won’t have many customers left soon. I could hear her barking at the next customer as I was driving off. Just to add: I have never left a negative review of any business,...
