Left feeling upset. Paid ten dollars for three chicken strips and 3$ for a side salad. 11 dollars for one burger and 3 dollars for a side salad. Neither dish came with fries as it stated on the menu because we apparently ordered using the wrong phrasing. We asked for a trip to the salad bar when we ordered. Unknowingly we were asking them for a substitute. Our meal did not come with fries as they stated that they can’t control how much people put on the small plate they give you for salad. The food is great, it is just upsetting that it was not clarified that the meal did not come with the sides on the menu when you ordered a trip to the salad bar and that they would instead charge you three dollars extra. If you go here make sure you clarify that you want an Addition to your meal. Because it’s only four dollars extra. So you would get the meal, the side it states on the menu that comes with it, and a trip to the salad bar for literally one dollar more then if you say “ I would also like a trip to the salad bar. If you just ask for a trip to the salad bar they will substitute your fries for that and charge you three dollars extra. If you don’t clarify they rip you off. To be fair the manager offered me a salad bar trip on them for the next time I visited but since I don’t live in Cedar that would be a waste. I don’t plan on going back to this establishment. Ten dollars for 3 pieces of chicken is completely...

ADDED 1/17/22: Brick House is now open at 6 am for breakfast (except Sunday and Monday when they're closed all day.) Breakfast options are intriguing. I like that they serve them all day, until they close at 3 pm Tu-Th, 6 pm Fr-Sa.

Added 6/16/22: I was clued in to a great sandwich by another Google Map review. (Thanks, Taylor!) The Pulled Turkey san is a perfect balance of focaccia bread, turkey meat, lettuce, and raspberry jalapeño spread. I also learned that for two bucks, you can substitute the usual banal side options (fries, coleslaw, chips) for an excellent tomato basil soup. Despite the size, I ate the whole sandwich, and even the last bite was delicious!

Original review: Enormous sandwiches are the specialty of this restaurant. I was forewarned, so I asked to have take-away boxes when we gave our order. With half the lunch stowed, we enjoyed a substantial meal without feeling the need to stuff ourselves. The sandwiches were tasty. I had a Cuban, that curiously was not made with the pickle inside. I sliced the dill wedge provided, though, and inserted it, and with that, enjoyed the real Cuban sandwich flavor. The take-away half made a light supper the next day. UPDATE 2/2023: I had the Brick House Cuban for a late lunch today, and it is now a proper Cuban made with bread-and-butter pickles inside. Hurrah! Spouse got the jalapeño burger and fries, and was also...

We tried this place in Cedar City, UT, since it had some great reviews on Google.

Some things to keep in mind from our visit on the weekend of April 1st: the location is temporary, it was understaffed, our wait was 15 to 20 minutes, and the place was packed!

I have to say, given the scenarios above, I really thought our wait time was going to be a lot longer, and thought our food was going to take awhile, neither happened.

Our waitress was amazing and did a great job of accommodating our group of 10. She was fast with the drinks. Food took a bit longer, but we expect it, since some of our party had Celiac Disease (Gluten Free) and they make the food separately.

The Root Beet Floats and delicious and huge! Their sweet potato fries are delicious! I honestly cannot tell you what I got, because I was more focused on eating my sweet potato fries instead of my burger.

Our entire group loved their food and it was delicious.

The restaurant did just buy the place next door and it's currently being remodeled, so it's supposed to be bigger and newer. The new restaurant is supposed to be opening sometime in...

We had lunch here today, and I am so happy that we did! They have a menu full of tasty items. All of us got a trip to the salad bar; it had everything I was looking for in a salad bar and more. The one trip side salad was a great size to pair with an entrée, but if you are looking for a larger size, the one trip regular salad was great. We also ordered sandwiches, and they were delicious! I recommend the ultimate club, the chicken bacon ranch with grilled chicken, and the pulled turkey sandwich. The BLT sandwich was okay, but the focaccia bread was fresh and absolutely made the sandwich. The sandwiches are large, so I suggest ordering a half size if you are pairing it with sides. The sweet potatoes with caramel sauce were a fun treat! They are open 7am-7pm, so I'll be back to try breakfast items and to eat lunch again.

We came here on the 4th of July so it was pretty busy and i imagine the staff was probably short as well. However we waited about 50 minutes for our food, and did not have great communication with the waitress so we felt a little disappointed with that. That being said the food was pretty delicious! We all had burger and they were all good, only thing was i wish my sour dough bread for my burger was more of a bun than a little slice of bread. Definitely try the sweet potato fries, they have fry sauce and caramel sauce you can dip them in. Since it was a holiday i hope it was just an off day for them, but we will definitely try this place again!
