I saw the Crystal Gayle show on the 28th of April. First off, the show was really good and overall I enjoyed getting to see a live performance. The theater itself could have been a real asset you the city but the design comes up short. The entrance is non-descript and not very well marked. The lobby is large enough that it could have accommodated a better entrance and reception area. It's rather plain and for this show only had a table set-up for purchasing tickets. I did buy my ticket at the door, the first row in the center of the rear section. Thought this would be a decent seat and the price was $56.00 total. The program was replete with hymns and ballads, and finished with the rousing "God Bless America," for which the entire audience rose to their feet to join voices with the MasterSingers choir. Outstanding!
Previous review: Wonderful MasterSingers concert at this theater tonight! The auditorium seats hundreds comfortably, and has facilities for 'casting and recording. I've been to a number of choir concerts here over the years (pre-pandemic), and the space is very well-designed to enhance...
Read moreWas lucky enough to see the Moscow Ballet's production of "The Nutcracker" at the Heritage Center last night. The stage was very well set and the lighting well done. My only complaint was that I felt the audio track could have been a little louder- being able to hear each and every footfall from the dancers was a little distracting. I was impressed and thankful that disabled patrons were seated first as the entire auditorium was sold out and seats were not assigned. It was very much...
