I recently visited The French Spot and had an amazing dining experience. This charming restaurant not only boasts a pet-friendly patio but also offers a delightful array of dishes that left me completely satisfied.
The mixed green salad I ordered was a refreshing delight. The greens were incredibly fresh and crispy, and the dressing was simply wonderful. The combination of flavors was spot-on, making it a perfect appetizer to start my meal.
For my main course, I opted for the vegetable soup, and I was pleasantly surprised. The soup was perfectly seasoned, striking a harmonious balance of flavors without overwhelming my taste buds. It was clear that attention was given to every ingredient, resulting in a soup that was both comforting and delicious.
The highlight of my evening was undoubtedly the steak. Cooked to perfection, it was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The accompanying sauce elevated the dish even further, and the potatoes served alongside were a delectable complement. The quality of the ingredients and the skillful preparation truly shone through in this outstanding dish.
The service at The French Spot was top-notch. The staff was incredibly accommodating, ensuring that my dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, enhancing the overall experience.
Although I didn't indulge in dessert on this occasion, I was pleased to see a great variety of options available. The French Spot clearly takes pride in offering a diverse selection of delectable treats, ensuring that there is something to satisfy every sweet tooth.
In conclusion, The French Spot exceeded my expectations in every way. From the pet-friendly patio to the remarkable dishes, attentive service, and tempting dessert options, this restaurant truly stands out. I highly recommend paying them a visit for an exceptional dining experience....
Read moreI grabbed some breakfast at The French Spot in Cedar City. It took some doing as Google Maps kept trying to tell me it was somewhere else. I walked around with longing in my heart, and found it in a cute little hut behind the building Maps told me it was in.
Everyone was speaking French. (Besides me. I only speak the language of my people, ugly American.) I'm all "Can I please have foods I can't pronounce? Thanks!"
They said "we" at my face and took my money.
I discovered, upon first bite, how much I have never understood happiness.
My life has been empty, barren, and filled with imeasurable pain.... stemming from lack of palate joy. (Who knew?)
In this place? I have found jouissance! My existence is now filled with gaiety and joie de vivre!!
I went full Oliver Twist and returned humbly, asking, "Please sir, I want some more."
They obliged.
The French are better than everyone. They just are.
When you go, be aware that "Tomorrow is our last day. We're closing for a month while Michele (dude's name.... Me-shell) goes back to France to visit his family." -
God bless you, Michele! You are a good man!! Your tarts, crepes, macarons, and pumpkin chai have given me the meaning and purpose I've been searching for for over 40 years!
I have thrown out everything I knew about zest, and I am replacing it with this!
When can the French conquer...

We sat inside because of the warm weather and noticed immediately the large amount of flies buzzing around our faces. I ordered the chocolate crepes and they were good. The staff was slow and unhelpful; I understand that since the title is "The French Spot", you'd want to bring some authenticity to the business with foreign employees, but it would help if they understood what we were ordering and if we could piece together their words. I had asked for an iced caramel macchiato with oat milk (along with the crepes, might I add). I waited for my drink long after I had finished with my food. The waitress brought me some kind of hot latte. I asked her if she could please remake it, and, in the process, she kept came back at least 3 times to confirm my order. I finally received my macchiato ten minutes later. It was okay, the ice was minimal. My party had also ordered drinks and the service was slow for them as well. One of them asked for an Arnold Palmer; the drink was extremely bitter and had no sweetness whatsoever. We were all greatly disappointed in...
