I “booked” their party room several days in advance for my son’s birthday (12 people) and was assured that the room would be reserved in their “party book” i called again the morning of the reservation to verify we were still good, arrived at the restaurant and I had my party go sit in the room as I paid for everyone. When i arrived at the room the server whom i assumed was new as he messed up the drink order asked for the ticket. When he came back with the drinks, we to many of some and not enough of others which I was understanding about, the “manager intervened stating we did pay enough and told me that I needed to pay for another meal took the receipt and stormed off, I followed her to the front, paid for the other meal and made my way back to the table, as our party was getting their food the server came to us and asked if there’s anything we needed as he wasn’t going to be available because a bus of kids just came in. About 5 minutes later a huge group flooded the party room. I went to the manager as asked if it was customary for reservations to be not honored. She told me they don’t take reservations and “they had to put them somewhere “. I just said thanks for the information and went back to the table. About a minute later my eldest son informed me that the same manager ran into him, didn’t say anything just kept going. I had enough at this point and went to the front and asked for the corporate number, she quickly told me they were a franchise so the didn’t have a corporate number and instead gave me the number to the Saint George location as she explained that’s where her boss is currently at. I called her boss Kurt, and expressed my concerns, he proceeded to tell me that he would never promise a private room for anything less than 25 people, when I told him the website and his manager said otherwise and he said he’s not sure what the website says. I expressed the concern of what happened to my son and he asked for the time of incident and said “what do you want me to do about it?” By far the absolute WORST service I’ve ever experienced from any restaurant. I RARELY write reviews on anything as I try to be understanding that some people are having a bad day. However this experience deserves attention. Save your money and blood pressure, McDonalds is a better choice. Unfortunately it required me to rate at least one star as that’s...

The Steak Situation: I don’t know who’s on the grill —maybe a cowgirl-angel hybrid sent straight from the cattle ranch in the sky—but she was cooking steaks so perfectly juicy and tender that I considered proposing to one. I asked for medium rare, and what arrived was so flawless I half-expected Gordon Ramsay to burst in and slow clap.
The Staff: The team here is friendlier than your grandma at a church potluck. The host greets you like you just came home from a two-year LDS mission, the servers refill your drink before you even notice it’s low, and the grill master calls you “partner” in a way that makes you want to immediately buy a cowboy hat.
The Vibe: Families laughing, plates clinking, and the soft hum of “I Can’t Believe I Ate This Much” radiating from every table. It’s the kind of place where strangers become friends over the soft serve dispenser.
Golden Corral Cedar City isn’t just a buffet. It’s a lifestyle. It’s a promise. It’s proof that if heaven has a waiting room, there’s probably a Golden Corral in it—and the steak tastes exactly like this.
Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Would I risk fitting into my jeans tomorrow?...
Read moreAbsolutely disgusting. Food from day before was out on the buffet. Meatloaf was a few days old if not older. Chicken half raw. Deserts seem to have sat out overnight. Rotten smelly tomatoes in the bins. Cauliflower was moldy. Backed potatoes cold. Pizza not cooked all the way through. Just put tomato sauce in there no flavor. Mashed potatoes dried and lumpy. Like no joke it seemed they put yesterday’s food on the buffet at 12 noon. Wife had something go straight through her and had to go to restroom and was done. Cookies not edible. Daughter even banged it in the plate trying to get it to eat it. The cooks, well do they wash there clothes ever? Those aprons you could tell been used for months. I actually think never washed. Insanity how unsanitary these people were. Grill had not been cleaned in months. Honestly the health department should pay them a visit. The bathrooms had not been cleaned in weeks. No soap to wash hands in men’s room. Toilets been through 1000 or more people and not a single cleaner has hit it. They need to clean the place up for sure. Highly suggest...
