Updated Review: Mary from Starbucks on University Avenue went above and beyond to make things right! She called last night to apologize for the mix-up and offered to have my coffee ready at the designated time for my meeting today. When I arrived, the staff greeted me with a smile, apologized again, and even gave me my coffee on the house. Great work, Mary – thank you for turning this experience around!

Previous Review: This Starbucks on University Avenue has been a huge disappointment. I called ahead the day before to order two traveler containers, gave them all my information, and thought I was all set. But when I arrived the next morning, the order wasn’t ready at all. Mary, thankfully, stepped up to throw it together quickly, but this was only the beginning of the headache.

The next day, I placed the same order, called again to confirm, and expected it to go smoothly this time. But, incredibly, when I arrived at the agreed time, nothing was prepared. I was told it was “just a few minutes away,” which turned into a 20-minute wait. Reira offered me an extra cup of black coffee as an apology, which slowed things down since I’d already ordered two travelers. Why add one more cup?

It’s honestly baffling how hard it is for this location to handle a simple order, especially with advance notice. If you’re planning to order something in bulk, prepare for disorganization, delays, and unnecessary...

Normally they have had pretty good service but lately it has been going down hill. I went with my daughter tonight and the Barista was very rude. She did not offer me a stopper for our 4 drinks but the stoppers were sitting on the counter so I took 4. She informed me that next time I should ask. Me taking the stoppers was a health hazard and now she would have to throw all of the stoppers away. It's kind of funny that they have stir sticks sitting out but if you touch the top of a stopper it's a health hazard? They were only about 10 inches from the sleeves. You have to put your own sleeve on so there was no reason for me to think that I could not get my own stopper. The ironic side of this is she was touching her hair and then dumped in some coffee beans (touching the dusty top of the machine). I'm pretty sure me hands were as clean if not cleaner. If there was less stars I would give it!!!! This store needs general management to come in retrain everyone in this store and fire the current managament cause they are not doing there job!! There is no drink consistency at!! all drink comes out tasting different everytime!!! Now they have this thing where they like to just randomly close and look there doors on customers so they have to sit in a drive thru that is wrapped around the build and a drive threw that they run sooooo slow that if you dont have a extra 30 minutes in the morning no coffee for you!! There drive thru also traps you so you cant pull out of line if you run out of time and change your mind!!! And they cant tell me they are closed in store cause of covid they were open last week and so is everywhere else in town!! Seems like pure...
