Probably the best coffee place in the Cedar Hill - GP - Duncanville area really. Very tasty coffee & tea, nothing is diluted - very strong, proper and aromatic tea & coffee flavors, milk & cream + their alternatives are also high quality, and their specialties drinks are actually good, and distinctive from each other. My favourite are definitely the Yemeni chai (the brown sugar version of this is đ«â€ïžđ) and the brown sugar shaken espresso. In general their brown sugar/spiced drinks are very good. Their empanadas are decent depends on the flavors, chicken pot pie is good and I just need the spinach feta one to come back. Their pastries are all great! Wifi is strong, seating is plenty and comfortable inside or outside, and it's usually not too loud though they do have big groups coming in at certain times. Staff is very kind and quick. They open late in the morning but stay open until 9 or 10pm depends on the day so. The only downside is probably the price, though it's pretty standard for good, upscale coffee shop...
Read moreIâve been here a couple times since it opened, frequently I would see the owner disrespecting his employees and I didnât have the guts to really speak out about it until now. This morning I saw him get in a poor girlâs personal space while she clearly looked uncomfortable, soon after she was fired and told to leave because I could only assume she wasnât doing as he wanted. I use to support this place but frankly, Iâd rather not give my money to someone who has little respect for the people working for him. Iâve read other reviews about his behavior and now Iâm starting to see it, and itâs quite sad considering how kind the workers are. Abuse in the work place isnât cute. Not to mention they charge a dollar for a cup, just another thing to be...

Too often, the neighborhood cafĂ© experience has been reduced to a formulaâefficient, profitable, and soulless. This particular location is a gentle reminder that authenticity and care canât be replicated by chains driven solely by the bottom line, which brings me to my second point; the owners. They genuinely care about their customers and their experience. Very warm and welcoming along with the entire staff. Give this place a try you won't be...
