We say that they accepted the check-in information so we waited. We sat there waiting for 47 minutes. I got out of the car & actually walked into their kitchen area. I was very nice but in my mind I was really angry because their app. showed that they took the order & CHARGED me but they were saying they never got it and charged me twice. Well the next guy said they did get it but the problem was that they didn't have any ONION RINGS so the order was canceled. Why didn't they come to our car and say anything OR even say it on the SPEAKER?!?!! MY HUSBAND IS A VERY QUIET WHITE MAN & I'M BLACK. I DON'T HAVE THAT KIND OF SERIOUSLY HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICES UNLESS HE AND I GO TO THAT CEDAR HILL, TX LOCATION TOGETHER. Well, after I opened my bank account on my phone and walked back into their kitchen door & even well into their work area showing them that they took my order and money, one girl conviently found my detailed long receipts and the one other guy said, "WE RAN OUT OF ONION RINGS", then he refunded BOTH of our detailed receipts!!!! ???!!!BLACK PEOPLE!!!??? WHAT WE SCREAMING!!!!???? WE SEEM TO BE THE !!!!!WORST!!!! IN PROFESSIONALLY RUN BUSINESS ONCE WE HAVE MAJORITY BLACKS IN THAT BUILDING. SO FAR ONLY 1 "ONE, ONE, ONE!!!!!" Chili cheese hot dogs were delicious. The reason for the 2 star is that I went thru drive thru and tried making $7 dollars cash and the rest on my debit card and was told that they where not able to split payment that way. I asked to have someone that was able to do it, but 3 different people including manager said the same thing. I then asked why is there no signs that indicate that any where so customers are aware and not have to go thru this long wait speacially the ones behind me that by this time they where honking since thru Sonics drive thru there is no way to get out. Thats another bad thing that if person at window is having any kind of issue customers behind have no way out but to wait and this issue happened at lunch time during the week. By this time all employees at Sonic I had an interaction with where looking at me with an upset face as if this was my fault but it was not because as a big fast food place you should have machines that can take split payments or if you don't have sign that indicate so customer can make a decision to come or notcto come. At the end the manager only charged me the amount I was able to do by debit I then suggested to put signs so that no more customers go thru the same thing he the proceeded to me no that they where not able to put signs. I really hope the owner of this franchise reads this and is able to put machines in place tha can take...
Read morePulled up and checked in using the app, my dad thought it was cool that his name was flashed across the screen. He pushes the button and we wait. And wait. We get timed out on the red button so he pushes it again. On his app, he’s being rung up for something but he hasn’t even spoken to somebody through the kiosk yet.
Finally the person talks to take our order. The person taking our order got our order wrong and when we pointed it out, she switched it over to a different person to take our order. They kept getting the order wrong on the screen and wouldn’t let us redeem a coupon for a free Birthday Shake because the shakes were already half off and they couldn’t put another coupon on top. The coupon we had was for a free Birthday Shake though, so we had a coupon, we weren’t asking for a random free Shake. They had to go to the manager for our order. The car in the drive thru was mad apparently because I heard them shouting at the drive thru window and when the person came on to finish taking our order, they didn’t apologize and we could hear the yelling customers clearly.
After all was said and done and the order was finally right on the screen, we went to pay and the kiosks were reading “technical difficulties” so now we have to wait on our order and the carhop to take...
