Hooters — Restaurant in Cedar Hill

okay how to start... let me first say that I have been a Hooters cust since 1987 soooo I think I have a pretty good record to state my comment which is; out of ALL the locations I have been to this is the ABSOLUTE WORST!!! I can clearly u/s why corp is closing locations and this place SHOULD be one of them no question because they MGT has drug the brand to its lowest point!! Went to this place because the loc we normally go to is closed currently, upon pulling up I immed said "o no is this place already shut down"? it looked empty, pulled into the p/l and there were some cars so we went in, immed noticed the bar seemed to be the place cause there were on 2 tables w/folks? we sat at a table and 5min went by and no waitress? just when I was abt to get up she came by and took our drink order. 8min later still NO drinks, I was watching the bar maid and she seemed to be busy either taking care of her folks first or she was chatting, my drink was not even on her radar, then when she started to pour it she kept stopping to fill other drinks and give them to her bar people and then would come back to mine, this happened a few times!! my drink finally arrived and we gave food order, 24min later our 2 plates of wings and tacos came out and I kinda just looked at everything and wondered what happened in the kitchen?? wings were not cooked as requested and tacos come with a shell 4x bigger than the contents, 3 small shrimp in ea that is covered by a mound of lettuce.... waitress disappeared so could not ask anything and there was no one else on the floor? the host at the front door went somewhere for an extended time and 3 couples walked out after 15min while waiting to be seated, they were more patient then me cause I would have left after 5min!! anyways so much more but don't wanna make this tooooo long, again corp SHOULD really close this loc and save the frustration of the community OR hire NEW MGT who u/s the job!!! speaking of mgt there was NO MGT figure present nor did one come to the table to ck on things??? will NEVER be back and Atlanta will be getting a call!! mgt don't waste ur time w/a comment just do all a favor...

I realized you guys just opened not too long ago but a word of advice... don't open until you are fully set for success. And you all are not. I only came here because I was with a group but had it been my choice, I'd be down the street at BWW. Hostess didn't know how much time until the next table opens up...problem #1. As soon as we sit down, our waitress comes over to ask if we had been told that it would be 45 minutes to actually get our food. Problem #2. Why did we just wait then? We said whatever, go on with it. My fiance ordered Tito's on the rocks. It took 40 minutes for the waitress to come back and when my fiance asked where his drink was, she said she was waiting on her manager to see if they still had Tito's. Didn't think that took management to check but whatever. Then, a random waitress comes over with a tray of wings and LITERALLY says "Someone order these? I don't know what they are, they just passed it to me and told me to deliver them to this table." Do you not work here? No knowledge in what you're serving? Last, I've been watching all these waitresses bundled up in a corner of the restaurant, no rush, nothing but hanging out, and while one girl literally says in front of me, "Theres so many people!" Should be a sign to work faster. NEVER COMING BACK!

P.S. IF YALL SPENT LESS TIME HUDDLED AROUND A TABLE CHANTING OUT HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAYBE MORE TABLES WOULD BE FED. ALSO, WHY HAVE I SEEN YOUR KITCHEN STAFF GUY OUT HERE TALKING TO THE HOSTESSES? IVE SEEN HIM MORE THAN IVE SEEN MY WAITRESS. (writing this review as I'm still waiting...

Love the atmosphere and the food. I went in the other day with my family just to grab a bite to eat. Followed some (I'll leave that alone) and she seated us near the toilet area. I despise that, so we requested another seating. She was very rude and obnoxious and, waved us off and said; "you can move wherever you want" walked off without placing us, nor wiping down the dirty tables that were in this area. Our waitress came up and I told her what happened and requested a manager. It took him a minute but I stood and refused to sit. The waitress came back, wiped down our table, placed our cultery, wrote her name on a napkin, got our drinks. By then the manager came and I explained how we were treated. He was apologetic and even offered us an appetizer on the house. He was cool and professional. Our waitress took great care of us! Look I don't care how busy you get. When you're in this type of work there is a high expectation that you will multi task (meaning you'll wear more than one hat). GET USE TO IT! You chose that job, we didn't and expect the same level of service as if we were dining at the Mansion or Oceanaire! We are spending OUR money at your establishment. If you can't handle high volume then quit and find something that suits your level of mentality. The food I'll give 5 stars, our waitress 5 stars, the manager gets 5 stars, but one apple can spoil the whole bunch and it's because of her I...
