I usually don’t write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience because I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I paid approximately $15 for a meal that came with barely few ~10 tiny pieces of chicken, definitely not worth the price. On top of that, they charged $2.99 for rice and beans, which isn’t even extra - the bowl doesn’t come with rice or salad. So basically, you’re forced to add rice just to make it a complete meal.

I ended up spending $33 for two meals that looked more like kids’ portions. I feel ripped off. The quantity and value just don’t match the price at all. Definitely not coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who expects a decent meal for what...

We had a wonderful experience here today! We went in around 2 on a Friday and it was empty, the manager (owner?) and other staff member were very welcoming and explained the menu, how it worked, gave me taste tests of some food items and sauces (their in-house sauces are yum!), and checked in on us often to make sure all was well. My two kids got a chicken and cheese quesadilla with chips and a drink, and I loaded up my bowl with just about everything! I found the turmeric rice, spicy garlic chicken, and sweet potato add-in to be different and tasty, and the food tasted fresh- WAY better than Chipotle. It was completely empty when we walked in (staff included). The place looked nice and had a menu like Chipotle. Once the staff came in from the back (I think they were outside, maybe?) we got 2 burritos (steak and barbacoa). The tortillas were not heated, the red salsa looked like Tostidos, and although my barbacoa burrito was fine, my parents did not like the steak. The rice also tasted like basmati rice, which is atypical for burritos. These burritos, at least for us, felt too separated from the Mexican flavors that we like burritos for.
