I've been placing take out orders from this location since it opened. two weeks ago I ordered three meatball subs, extra cheese, toasted brown. I picked up my order, went to work as usual, handed out the sandwiches to the guys, all the sandwiches DID NOT have extra cheese, nor were they toasted brown. Today, I called to place an order for take out, I told them that when I ordered the sandwiches last time that there was not extra cheese nor were they toasted correctly. I was immediately and firmly corrected by the male employee taking my order that if I said I wanted extra cheese, they put extra cheese on it.. "It may not have looked like it, but it was there." Um, Excuse me?? Now, I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I'm not a spoon either.. I think i've been ordering there long enough to know what extra cheese looks like. Second, since when did this turn into "the store is always right??" I've not complained about any, any, other take out orders before this.. I need to get someones attitude?? I order from the app a lot so I can earn rewards and ideally cut down on my wait time once I get to the store. The app tells me a time the order should be ready, but I’m not sure there’s been a single time the food is actually been ready at that time. Today I ordered a sandwich for my daughter to pick up on her way back to school, and even an hour after I placed the order, the sandwich still wasn’t ready. An hour past pickup time, still no food. I don’t blame the individuals inside the store, but something is definitely broken between their app and their store. I don’t know if the store just isn’t making the online orders in the order that they come, or if they’re truly so backed up that it takes them an hour to make a sandwich. I've been visiting this spot for years, but only recently have I noticed a decline in how things are run. It doesn’t feel as clean or efficient as it used to. The only thing that hasn’t changed is the friendliness of the staff. I definitely wouldn’t recommend coming during your lunch break.
Today, my friend and I decided to eat here for the second week in a row. Both times, the food took an unusually long time to prepare, which struck me as odd since the lunch rush had already passed.
