This is such a fun, unique place. My husband and I were excited to take our kids here and have a yummy lunch where we would all try each other’s ramen and add our own favorite toppings. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. Especially with a family our size and with all the different expenses during the holidays, we took one look at the pricing and decided to share just one bowl of ramen simply for the experience. We were ready to spend the money for lunch if the prices were more reasonable, but they were not. We would much rather spend our limited dining out budget on a meal that is delicious and filling and is a good value— so we had our one bowl to share and spent the rest of our money at the H-Mart food court.
I enjoyed the experience but left feeling very unsettled. I want to be able to come back again to enjoy many different packages of ramen— and I especially want this to be a place we feel excited and comfortable returning to again and again. But if prices don’t change, this will sadly remain a one-time experience. I want very much for the owners to do well and to be successful long-term. I hope they’ll consider my suggestion (as well as others’) in order to cultivate a base of loyal repeat customers instead of...
Read moreThis place is so cute! We brought our family here because it looked like a fun spot, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. From the start, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Since it was our first time, they walked us through the whole process of picking out your ramen, toppings, and drinks, and gave easy instructions on how to put it all together.
The food itself was delicious. The ramen was flavorful and comforting, and I loved how you can customize it with different broths, proteins, and toppings to make it exactly how you like it. The noodles had a great texture, the broth was rich and tasty, and the toppings really took it to another level. Even the drinks and dessert were fun and refreshing, and it all tied the experience together.
The atmosphere was adorable too, with super cute décor and such a fun vibe. In the back they even have a photo booth with props so you can take pictures and leave one on the wall, which makes it extra memorable.
The only downside is the price. For 3 adults and 1 kid, with drinks and ice cream, it came to over $110. But honestly, with how good the food was and how awesome the staff made the experience, I would still recommend...
Read moreMy kids have been dying to try K-Ramyun and we finally tried it out.
First off, set your expectations correctly in that they offer store bought, instant ramen. This is not a gourmet ramen restaurant. That said, their selection is exceptional and extremely organized. They have a variety of ramen for virtually any taste and spice. Their employees were extremely helpful in explaining how their ramen is displayed.
From there you have a wide variety of toppings to choose from. Those toppings range from boiled eggs, to fish fake, to rice cake, to spam, to kimchi, and even boiled eggs.
You then get a selection of Asian drinks and a handful of sides, like kimbop which my kids enjoyed.
The employees are extremely helpful in instructing first timers how to properly cook the ramen of your choice. It's extremely easy.
The atmosphere is simple, clean, and nice. The only potential negative is the overall cost, it's on the expensive side for what's ultimately instant ramen.
Beyond the high price, it's definitely a restaurant worth experiencing and visiting every now and then. My family and I will...
