MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Cedar Park

We live in a time where everyone deserves to be accepted, acknowledged, and treated with kindness, wouldn’t you agree? When my family entered your establishment, we were not greeted. I stood at the counter for about 30 seconds before the young lady finally asked if we were ready to order—still with no greeting. Initially, I assumed this was simply poor customer service, until I noticed that a white couple entered shortly after us and was immediately greeted by two staff members. This caught my attention, so I continued to observe. Three more customers entered, and each of them was greeted as well. However, when another African American couple came in, they also received no greeting. At this point, it became clear that this was not a coincidence. It is deeply disappointing and unacceptable. We should live in a world where every customer is treated equally and with respect, and my children should never feel unwelcome in any establishment. I approached the counter and asked to speak with a manager. A young Hispanic woman told me she was the assistant manager. When I asked who the general manager was, she provided the name Preston. This type of treatment must stop. No family should ever feel the way mine felt tonight. Just sharing...

Update 4/26/19. I wasnt kidding. I come here so much. And WHOOOOWHEEEEE THIS PIZZA IS GOD TIER. Gotta say. Love these employees, Jaxon skellen is the best! Frank is amazing! Everett is one of the funniest, nicest guys I've ever seen! Major props to him! Derrick is killing it with cooking too! These pizzas are amazing! Austing is amazing too! The guy has an awsome attitude. I will always come back for more! Keep spreading modness!❤

Update 4/25/19 pretty sure i come here more than any other restaraunt. Anyone who gives this place a negative review must be on a wild concoction of narcotics. This place is beyond expectations every single time. Plus the enviorment is always live and happy....also shoutout to Jaxon skellen, Jay(not me), derek, Everett and janel. These people are legendary, and are always spreading modness. They always have a hilarious attitude and great smile

We visited this location and there were 7 people standing around talking, laughing behind the counter. No one greeted us, the counters and preparing station was dirty. When we placed our orders we made sure to tell the young lady that was making our pizza that we had severe gluten allergy and asked them to make sure to be very careful not to cross contaminate. The employees were too busy laughing and talking to each other to be mindful of what they were doing. We had to ask them to change gloves then one other employee said “everything is possible to contaminate.” That she wanted us to be aware because they have gotten yelled at before because of that.” Pizza were made so sloppy and they didn’t even call out names when the pizzas were ready. When I did pick the pizzas us I asked if we could get plates and they said all the plates were dirty so we had to get boxes. Customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. Employees were drinking their drinks while preparing food. There was no visible leadership. The trash was full and overflowing to the floor.
