A restaurant with Standout Dishes and Generous Offerings!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Naga's restaurant that truly impressed me with its diverse selection and exceptional quality. From the moment I looked at the menu, I knew I was in for a treat, with a wide array of options to satisfy various tastes.
One of the absolute highlights of my meal was the idli. They were perfectly prepared, boasting a remarkable softness and a delightful taste that left me wanting more. It's clear that a lot of care goes into making these classic South Indian staples.
For a starters, I opted for the Paneer Hariyali, and it did not disappoint. The paneer was incredibly fresh, and the hariyali marinade was bursting with flavor, making each bite a truly delicious experience. It's a dish I would highly recommend to anyone visiting.
Adding to the wonderful experience, the restaurant had a special Mother's Day promotion offering free Gobi 65. This was an unexpected and welcome bonus, and the Gobi 65 itself was excellent – crispy, flavorful, and a perfect accompaniment to the meal.
Overall, this restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience with a great selection of food, prepared with care and attention to detail. The soft and tasty idlis, the delicious Paneer Hariyali, and the generous Mother's Day Gobi 65 all contributed to a memorable meal. I highly recommend...
Read moreNagas in Austin is hands down the worst dining experience I’ve had. The food might look good at first glance with its variety, but it’s meaningless when everything else about this place is broken.
They claim to be open until 3:30 PM, but by 2:30 half the buffet is empty. The staff acts like refilling food is a burden. Ask for anything and you’re met with eye-rolls and the same robotic excuse: “We close at 3:30 and clear the buffet by 3:25.” The live dosa counter is an unorganized joke.
The absolute deal-breaker is the customer service — or rather, the complete lack of it. In the middle of my lunch, one staff member (who called herself “Munni,” though clearly not her real name) barged into my table without a word, shoved a POS machine in my face, and demanded payment while I was still eating and talking. No excuse me, no manners, just rude and dismissive. When I told her this isn’t the way to treat customers, her exact words were: “That’s how it is at Nagas.” That says it all about their attitude.
I left my plate unfinished and walked away. Food alone can never make up for arrogant staff, poor hospitality, and a restaurant that doesn’t value customers. Never going back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go literally...
Read moreReally loved it. Great restaurant with really friendly service. Awesome food too. My in-laws were visiting from Raleigh and were very excited to hear that Nagas opened in Austin. We all decided to visit here today
It’s a beautiful restaurant with a lot of seating. The staff gave us a beautiful booth and it was really spacious. My mom in law and husband ordered sweet corn soup for appetizer and me and my father in law ordered Paniyaram. They said the soup was delicious. Kuzhipaniyaram was okay.
My mom in law ordered paper dosa, my father in law ordered ghee roast, my husband ordered Masala dosa and I ordered puri Chana. Everything was delicious. I would definitely recommend going a little early as they have just opened and not sure how much crowd would come. My puri Chana was late but it was so tasty. The best puris I had in Austin. Their dosa batter taste like the one my mom makes and it comes with 4 different chutneys. So tasty. The masala dosa was so good too. They also gave us some complimentary tea. It was such a grand and amazing end to a beautiful day.
Will definitely come back and try buffet and...
