I do like a lot of the items on Wendy's menu, but this particular location has gone downhill... like straight to the darkest depths of Mordor. LOL... The last time I actually went in this restaurant the service was pretty darn slow. The guy taking my order seemed to be new and the lady training or helping him was doing a horrible job at getting the dude up to speed. She didn't look very pleasant, either. Nor did any of the employees in the back seem to be enjoying what they were doing. Yeah, I know it's fast food, but a good manager should be able to have some motivational abilities and at least have some on the staff who can serve customers with a smile. My non-complicated order took just a few ticks shy of 15 minutes to receive. I could have walked over to each of the restaurants next door, sip on some Sake, and have a shot of tequila by the time my Wendy's order was ready. This is supposed to be fast food, folks. Food for convenience. That happened last month. Tonight I stopped by, but the doors were locked at 8:53pm. The website says the restaurant is open until 10pm and the drive-thru until midnight! That's not the first time this has happened. Late dinner, lights are on, doors locked. Ugh. Sometimes we'll drive by in the evening and the exterior lights are off. It's as though they close whenever they want to. So much for convenience. This is just a horribly managed facility. I do hope the franchise owners read this review so they have an understanding of why profits are dropping here. On one hand, I hope this Wendy's location does not close as it's the closest one to me. Read moreTwice now I have ordered a Dave's single meal, and both times they have got it wrong. I asked for no pickles, and they put no vegetables at all. If no pickles means no vegetables at all, then what do I need to say to have just no pickles? Then when I called back to let them know of their mistake they just hung up on me. If you do not mind your order being wrong and not getting a receipt for your order, then this is the place for you. Not going to stop going to Wendy's, just this location.
Updated Review 02/09/2021 - Gave them another chance this morning, and that was a mistake. They were out of all fountain drinks except Diet Coke. Then when they handed me my order it had ice cold potato wedges. When I returned them the lady at the window acted like I was in the wrong. After they made fresh ones, there was no I'm sorry for the mistake or nothing. The customer service, the inventory management, and evidentially the machinery at this location are horrible. Read moreI tried to order my kids’ the spicy chicken nugget kids meal-something I’ve done in the past (as recently as one week before) and was informed I could only order regular chicken nuggets from the kids menu. When I explained that I’ve had no problems previously ordering spicy chicken nugget kids meals from their location and others, I was told by the manager there was no way for them to enter it into the register. Knowing that was simply untrue, I left and went to a different Wendy’s further away from me and had no issues ordering spicy chicken nugget kids meals from that location. Either the manager working at the Anderson Mill location at 7pm on January 16 is new and not properly trained or she is just unconcerned with keeping customers happy and wanting to return.
