Perhaps the worst fast food experience anywhere. If I could rate them a zero, I would. Where to begin: (1) Placed an order online; (2) Showed up and waited to be recognized at the cashier station. After waiting for the cashier to cash out 3 people, I finally decided to step in line and announce my presence (politely) that I was there to pick up my online order. (3) I was told they were running behind. I then proceeded to watch as 3 other new orders were taken in the "regular" line. Had I simply waited in the regular line, I probably would've gotten my sandwiches faster. (4) After watching more people come in, and realizing they weren't making any progress with online orders, I decided to simply go stand in line. At this point, it was 6 people deep. I get it, it was lunch hour rush. Mind you, by this point, one of the 2 "sandwich artists," had decided to go on break or something leaving the one gal by herself who simply shook her head the entire time. This was at 12:30 right smack in the middle of lunch rush. Who goes on break during the middle of lunch rush. I then watched 4 people walk out without ordering (lost business). Mind you, I would've too, had I not already paid for my online order. (5) I finally make it to the counter and again request my online order. (6) I proceeded to watch them make sandwiches that were still not my online order, but I thought were others. All they have to do at this point is read the slip of paper. (7) After they made a few more sandwiches, I was told my order was ready and they tried to hand me the sandwiches that were not what I ordered. (8) I told them, that wasn't what I ordered to which, they told me, "Well those are the sandwiches we made." Mind you, one of the sandwiches I ordered was a deluxe steak, which costs more money than the sandwiches I was provided. (9) I asked for proper sandwich, to which I was ignored as they started helping others in line. Needless to say, I took the wrong sandwiches and walked out. The entire experience took 1 hour to get 2 sandwiches. I get it, finding workers is tough, but this was absurd at a whole other level. I was even more astounded by a gentleman and woman who were waiting in line, who proceeded to tell them how good of a job they were doing. Sorry, I understand being busy and getting behind, but making incorrect orders, ignoring customers, going on break in the middle of a rush, causing a situation where potential customers leave, is not "doing a good job." I've been in that situation before. Here's how you handle it: (1) Don't go on break and throw up your hands. (2) Simply acknowledge customer's presence. (3) Figure out a way to work smarter. (4) Turn off online ordering to handle walk-in customers only. (5) Work more efficiently by making more than one sandwich at a time. (6) Maintain composure and...
Read moreMy husband (who is black) picked up the online order I made today for lunch. The order said it was ready online, which it wasn't when he arrived. They told him the chips and pop in the order were self serve, so he went over to fill them. Allison, an employee, ran over and dumped his pop, stating "he didn't pay for that." I have the receipt right in front of me that states we paid for 2 sodas and 3 bags of chips. She only let him have one bag of chips. He was furious and left. When he returned home, he informed me of his encounter. This happened at 12 PM, and there was a line of customers waiting to be served. She purposely left the line and accused my husband of theft in front of everyone. I called, absolutely furious. Whoever answered the phone acted like they didn't know anything. To make matters worse, there was no manager on duty. They handed the phone to Allison (per my request to speak with her). She first said he was getting pop he didn't pay for. I said I was looking at the receipt, and it shows I paid for it. I told her there is no doubt in my mind that this was racially motivated because she wouldn't accuse a white guy of stealing with a long line of people. She apologized (probably because I'm white) after I informed her that I would be calling corporate. I also don't mind blasting this all over as racial profiling has got to stop. My husband is a medical provider, but you'd never know on his day off. I shouldn't have even needed to add that into this review. They wanted him to go back and pick up his items. He told me no way and to have corporate know how their employees treat people. I am awaiting an email back from corporate. Pull the cameras. The footage won't lie regarding what she did to him. Also, during a phone call with them today, another employee hung up on me. I'm not going to tolerate being disrespected when our orders pay their salaries. I will never, ever be back, and I will make sure every single person knows how this location treats...
Read moreStarting with the good.....the sandwiches weren't horrible. Ending with the bad experience. Yesterday we choose to order online and pickup. 20 minutes later , we arrive and are told that they were out of the meat chosen for one sandwich, so they didnt make our sandwiches. They told my son that he could choose another sandwich as they cant refund. My son is studying the menu board as the sandwich he was charged for is a bit pricey. The guy working the counter tells him to pick ANY sandwich because he is paying the same anyway. Well. Duh. That's why he didnt choose the cold cut when he paid for double rotisserie chicken...... we wondered why they hadn't called when they found they were out of the meat as our number is on the receipt. They also didnt get my sandwich correct as mine was extra meat , extra cheese, extra tomato. Picture included to show what I got. I used to love Subway, havent ordered since prices went up and quality went down. Watching the staff member go out and play in the dining area as we drove away was the clincher. They restaurant was empty when we got there , 630 on a hot evening, no one is buying a cold sub? Hmmmm. Me thinks these boys need adult...
