Leva Coney Island — Restaurant in Center Line

It was fine. New management obviously does not understand the impact having a decent looking menu makes, though. A stained, tri-folded piece of paper with grammatical errors (did you really think it's called anti-pasta salad? hush browns?) and awful formatting to the point where it's almost unreadable. It takes way longer than it should to read through the menu properly, and all because no care was taken. The food was decent, not great but I've had worse. The waitress seemed a little checked out - it should be second nature to think of all the condiments one might need. A bottle of mustard and some jelly for a full breakfast (no salt, pepper, ketchup, hot sauce) isn't going to cut it. Once again, I've had worse overall food and service, but if you are calling your restaurant "fresh start" I'm gonna hold you to some sort...

This new Coney Island is really nice, it’s extremely clean, the tables, booths & OTHER Mohammed was exceptionally hospital when walking through the doors he smiles & greets you very well. Brea the waitress is so so sweet & helpful as well, although she's new, she’s a quick learner. I only had 2 chilli dogs, a slice of cheese cake & a lemonade, the food was hot, had a great aroma & taste really good. Mohammed had given me a sample of their lemon rice chicken soup on the house & it was Probably the best Lemon chicken rice soup I’ve had because most of the time the lemon is so strong it over powers the chicken flavoring, but this one does not. Me and my sons came for dinner. My oldest said they were very kind here. The food was very tasty. The cook knew what he was doing back there and also kind as can be. They went above and beyond for my kiddos since they were out of one thing. At the moment they replaced it with something, he ended up loving more. The waitress was kind and very attentive.
