SandBaggers Sports Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Center Line

Dive Bar and Grill Exelence. I will start with the food, The Burger was fresh and looked hand formed. Two large strips of bacon with lettuce, and tomato that looked strait out of an advertisement photo. The Bun was fresh and toasted to perfection. Honestly one of the better burgers I have had in some time. The fries were average but tasty. Drinks were poured reletively strong for a bar, and were topped off regulary by the bartender. The atmosphere of this place is perfectly dated but clean. The three pool tables in the center had nice red felt and have the feel of a good basement bar, with railing around they leave a short stick at the table for those fun shots you will inevitably be face with when the railing just blocks your shot. They also have pull tabs and Keno if you are feeling lucky. The patrons were friendly and ranged from teens with thier parents, vietnam vets, and the regulars who are out for a 5 o'clock drink and pool game. I used to go to SandBaggers Sports Bar weekly for their karaoke, and to hang out and play darts with my boyfriend. They always made the best chicken nachos. But, because of my experience I had last night, I will never go back there. I ordered the chicken bbq pizza, minus bacon. When the pizza was brought to the table almost 30 minutes later, it was covered with bacon. I told the waitress that I didn't want it because I asked for no bacon and it obviously had bacon on it. She took it away and said OK. When she came back she said it was the cooks fault, and would take it off the bill. That's it! She didn't ask me if I wanted anything else to make up for the cooks mistake. I was really upset! So, I went to the owner. I explained the situation and he could have cared less. Now, during this time we did have a switch of waitresses, but that's no excuse. Last night Sandbaggers lost a valued customer. I think this was poor customer service, and even worse poor leadership on the restaurant...

I really enjoyed SandBaggers on my first visit. We went to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was really fun. They had karaoke on a Friday and the sound was good and the hostess was really good, too. We had pizza and I had clam chowder, both which very good, especially for a bar.

They had keno and the full Michigan lottery products for the gamblers as well as two pool tables for the shooters. The restrooms were clean as was the whole bar.

I will definitely be going back to SandBaggers for a karaoke night and hope to see...
