Azucar — Restaurant in Center Township

First I want to start off by saying this is one of my top favorite Ice Cream Shops! I come here often with my family, the banana nutella and tres leches flavors are must haves! I was Highly disappointed by the service my sister and I were greeted with. The staff is usually so nice and welcoming but this guy was absolutely rude and distasteful. He had an attitude with us while we were nicely asking about the flavors. Then proceeded to tell us we were only allowed to sample 2 since it was 2 of us, we come all the time and sampling has never been an issue. We were curious about the other flavors since our usual wasn’t available at the time.Also the other people beside us didn’t have the same rule and were greeted with smiles and manners . We are People of Color, but no other staff has ever made that dictate their service and mannerisms.I don’t know if he was having a terrible day and chose to express it through his customer service but it was definitely one of the worst experiences I’ve had and made me turn around...

My husband and I visited for the first time on Sunday, and one of the first things that stood out was that they had nieve de chongos 🤩!! If you know you know! But what really inspired me to write this review is the incredible customer service.

We had a little ice cream date that day and headed home afterward. By Wednesday, I realized I hadn’t seen my purse since the weekend but figured it must be in the car. Fast forward to Thursday, I’m officially panicking because it’s nowhere to be found. I decided to call the shop just in case… and to my surprise, they had it 🥺 Four whole days later!

I’m beyond grateful for their honesty and kindness. It’s rare to find that kind of integrity these days. Thank you so much for taking care of my things, you’ve definitely earned loyal...

Let me start off by saying right when I walked in the place didn’t smell good. I looked at the flavors and decided to get the Cookie Monster flavor. It was a blue ice cream with cookies in it and a cardboard cut out of Cookie Monster in it. You would expect it to taste like cookies but it was a disgusting bubblegum flavor. What was the point of putting cookies in there??? $4.25 for a tiny scoop of ice cream. Then I purchased the cookies and cream ice cream because of how gross the bubblegum one was. And that ice cream tasted funky too. Do not come here unless you want to...
