Brew-ski's — Restaurant in Center Township

My wife and I met a friend to eat here yesterday (1/5/2023) for dinner and was less than pleased! We quit going here about two years ago because of the (high prices) and the upcharges on everything! Nothing has changed as the prices got higher and the food got worse! I got the fish dinner that was ($16.99) and when she brought it out, the fish was dark brown as was the fries, almost as if the oil needed changed! I should have returned it but was real hungry and ate it any way! My friend got the fish on a plate and it was a normal light color as it should be! My wife got the fish bites with fries and it was also the right color! All was ok I guess until the bill came! The place uses the old school (hand written) reciepts and one does not know the totals until the (real bill) comes added up to pay! Come to find out they charge a surcharge for credit cards ($1.45 in my case) and if you're not a regular one does not know this! The prices here are high for bar food and I got the bad end of the stick with my over fried dark fish and fries! Won't be back again for sure! Zooky's in Chippewa is ten times better as is the food! GO THERE TO EAT A GOOD MEAL!--LARS COX...

Would give negative stars if possible...where to start...normally we visit once a week for wing and they are great...went in tonight Wednesday February 28th 2018....for wings and everything was horrible....from burnt cold...What I assume were reheated wings that were suppose to be butter garlic parm..and ended up being cold burnt wings sitting in a puddle of butter...with no garlic and no parm...for 2 of the orders..and my diabetic father ordering an unsweetened tea and receiving sweet tea instead and not knowing until he drank a big mouthfull...to mom's coffee coming when we were done eating...to the prices going up per basket of wings and the number of wings going down from 5 to 4 wings per basket....Seems like over th past 4 months or so they have been going down hill fast...guess it's time to find a new...

This was my first and last time in this bar. I can't comment on the food since the service was so bad we didn't make it that far. The bartender was extremely unfriendly and made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. My wife and I asked her if we could have the soccer game put on one of the TV's since it was on PBS and clearly not being watched. The bartender looked at us like we had two heads and said she'd check on it. It became clear that "I'll check on it" really meant I can't be bothered. We decided to cancel our food order and head down the road to Paradise Pub to have dinner, drinks, and yes they even turned the soccer...
