Upon visiting the store to purchase, the iPhone 17 Pro Max, I discovered that they were indeed in. I expressed my satisfaction to Rudy and waited for approximately 10 minutes until the employee retrieved the device from the safe. The store offered both the orange and blue color options. However, I was unaware that the employee had sold me a 512GB storage capacity instead of the desired 256GB capacity. I did not notice this discrepancy at the time. The employee informed me that I would receive a credit of $1100 for the purchase, followed by oh no it would $800 credit. Unfortunately, I received only $600 credit. I did pick the $65 mo plan. Regarding the military discount, the employee assured me that it would be $25 for the two devices. However, the actual discount was only $10. Additionally, I requested the new AirPods Pro (3) but the employee instead sold me the Pro 2 ($249), which were not the latest model. Informed me they were, which are $199 per Apple website. Furthermore, I informed the employee that I intended to purchase Apple Care, I did not require Verizon insurance. Despite this, the employee charged me $19 for one device. The phone not the watch. This is outside the additional $40 for activating the iPhone and watch ($80) total. Note: Be advised that the store charges a $49.99 fee for setting up, transferring, and activating the device. I did not ask, he failed to mention. This fee is specifically associated with purchases made at this particular store. Would not accept photo, I attempted to upload. I did get $140 credit without asking on my bill before I left. Still not a happy person Returned...
Read more3/16/18 Very rude and inconsiderate, Verizon stores have forgotten the value of good customer service. I went in with my wife to do a upgrade of her phone. (Her transaction went smoothly) while in the store I was also due a upgrade but was not sure if I wanted one my Note 5 has been fine. Verizon sales rep (used car salesman for how much these phones cost now) talks me into upgrading to the new Galaxy S9 telling me I can upgrade every year like my wife's iPhone if I buy the new S9 when it first comes out so I agree.... Upon starting the activation and switching phones over . Comes to find out you can't upgrade every year so not angry that I was lied to said that I would simply just like to keep my old phone . Upon hearing this the the manager informs me I was not lied to but the sales rep just misinformed me and I would be charged a $35 restocking fee for the phone and another $35 restocking fee for the watch they also talked me into. So long story short I left Verizon store in Beaver County Mall with the same old phone $70 lighter and a bad taste in my mouth with Verizon stores not caring about their customers any longer. I guess once you get so big it doesn't matter any longer....
Read moreThe week has not been good to me in a laugh out loud it sucked kind of way!! Not that it is new but I will be a mother if here it is Friday and I shattered the one thing that holds us all together, my iPhone! I was a mess to say the least and I am not sure if it was that I had to give up my phone or that I had to "GIVE UP THIS PHONE?" As I apologized to Liam for wiping snot on my sleeve, few tears for the phone. You all know that feeling too, men and women alike. But LIAM was there to metaphorically scoop me up, and save me! In all seriousness Liam never once allowed me to apologize for being upset or crying like a lil baby LOL. He continued to assist me even though at every turn we seemed to fail. "Pin? Huh?" Yeah, neither account manager can remeber that at this time so next? Thanks Liam for being such an excellent human to me today. Verizon is lucky to have you. Your "There's always a way" attitude will allow you to thrive. I paid the low amount oif a c-note with the Verizon insurance, but that is because I did break the back. Let's just say that my signifcant other stated "I am surprised it lasted this long!!" when I mentioned my whereabouts....
